Yeah I'm done for awhile. This update caused pokemon to just attack like mad, making any ball thrown useless. Literally had a pinser attack non stop with less than a 2 second gap inbetween. Wtf am I supposed to do, time my expensive as shit poke balls to land in between? Fuck that, it's like they never played a pokemon game before, and to force me to play these games with poke balls that are so hard to come by, it's just not worth it.

Yeah, Pokevision should have said they were going to stay up until tracking was fixed. I wish you could filter the in-game filter as well. Right now this game is a shit show. The only real way to get anything done is the live in NYC or San Fran... or spoof.

And by living in NYC you mean living in Midtown. I assure you the outer boroughs have our fill of Pidgey, Rattata and Doduos for days. Unless you're by a park.

I don't see how people are saying Vision and tracking apps are killing the game or cheating when essentially they turn a blind hunt into something like a race against the clock to catch 'em all. Spoofing is cheating because you aren't Go...ing anywhere.

For instance, I've been tracking things that I don't have on radar for the 'dex. I could be 7 or 8 blocks away from a Parasect I didn't have in the 'dex and I'd jog like a motherfucker to it because it had 5mins before depopping. Can I make it in time? Let's find out. Oh, a Jynx just popped in the opposite direction with 9mins? Let's get both. Now a Wartortle just spawned, oh shiiit. You get the point.

It's fun running from rare to rare like a FATE train because it cuts out the useless Zubats and Rattata that most definitely will push casuals to just uninstall. My tolerance for bullshit is pretty high on the Tanaka scale, I doubt kids and non-gamers are so patient.

In good news, good on them for making transferring easier. When the game lagged I couldn't transfer half the time because you couldn't scroll down to the bottom.

For me the other day during work a jiggly puff appeared on the tracking list. I was super happy and I looked up Pokevision. It was 4 blocks away, at the corner of 2 streets, slightly in the park that you wouldn't be able to get it from just walking down the street. I would of never stood a chance if PokeVision didn't exist.

Pokevision made the game more fun for me, without tracking sites I just don't care for the game as it wasn't deep enough to hold my attention aside the gotta collect em all aspect. That's all I cared about, and now that tracking sites are down WELP

Yeah, it's a shame cause the update made a lot of things so much smoother. But game play wise, this games shit is starting to become annoying, and I'm too old to deal with it.

Ya'll salting because you can no longer cheat in a dinky mobile game is hilarious lol. Especially considering you'll get sun&moon and run blind circles in the grass all day, but refuse to do the exact same thing when it involves getting your lazy ass outside.

Vision only tells you where pops are. You still have to walk/run/jog there to pick it up in the time limit. Far more reasonable than the battery intensive nightmare PoGo is running the app constantly to bump into more Zubat. It isn't even like if you see a Wartortle on radar that you won't need another 10 more for evolutions and improvements. Walking in a random direction to catch nothing of interest day in, day out does not a fun, dynamic game make.

Especially when said game wants some ridiculous number of catches for a *single* evolution.

Or some of us want to catch certain Pokemon and it's literally impossible without the radar. Keep on trying to be cool though. It's working well.

The people defending the games flaws are just the worst. The experience of getting out to explore some new places, and having a common hobby to socialize with strangers is amazing (although the novelty is beginning to wear off). The broken state of the app itself is intolerable. Both of these things can be the case, it's not a contradiction to enjoy the experience and criticize the state of the app. The radar IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENT OF THE GAME and it doesn't work. That just isn't defensible.

For those of you who think the attacking/escaping is a gimmick to get you to buy Pokeballs, are there not any Pokestops near where you guys play? I've never been remotely close to running out of Pokeballs. At one point I had 130+ Pokeballs and Great Balls, EACH!

Only thing I spend my Pokecoins on are incubators and lucky eggs. 2 things you can't get from Pokestops. I can't imagine blowing coin on Pokeballs. But then again, I do live within walking distance (5 miles) of 25 or so Pokestops.

The Pokemon attacking more frequently is annoying but not unbearable. Requires timing and reduces your ability to play while driving (may come with unintended consequences).

I ran out because when I was in Knoxville there were actually more pokemon than stops. Here in my part of Raleigh there's neither.

I like to catch/evolve everything (even the Pidgeys, Rattatas, and Spearows) for xp but with my limited supply of Pokeballs I've stopped doing that so I can save them for more rare Pokemon. It's really slowed down my leveling.
