Question, howcome we're taking the somewhat shady details to PMs? Before, on FFXI at least, it's because this was a very FFXI go to board, and GMs/officials frequent it. But for this game it's just 1 thread in a subforum, just a bit confused here. If we were a dedicated pokemon site with a good reputation in the community I would agree going into PMs. (i.e. the forum is full of strategists)

I think it's best to avoid anything that could get us in trouble legally. While the chances of that happening are extremely low, it's best not to take the risk.

As for my view on spoofing, I'd never do it, but with how they're treating this game I honestly cant be upset at anyone doing it.

I sincerely doubt there is even the slightest legal implications to talking about geo-spoofing, regardless of whatever medium you're discussing the game on.

I meant the risk of posting links to 3rd party apps that are against ToS. I don't care if anyone talks about it. It's just best to err on the side of caution, imo.
