You get softbanned, it's just easy to get around. Visit a pokestop Open > Spin > Close > Open > Spin > Close, once you get items you're clear. Can take up to 40 times though <_<;

Soooo, I live in Toronto, and there's a massive pokemon node that we call Jack Layton Ferry Terminal that's packed 24/7 due to 5 lures up at all times and rare pokemon spawns. Too bad it's so bad now that the city has officially requested that the stops be moved. =/ Apparently humans are shit and can't clean up after themselves. Who'd think it?

My work is a magikarp nest. The last three days I've caught probably 15-20 a day just casually looking.

The graveyard down the street that had a good 25-30 pokestops and 5 gyms has been completely cleared out. I guess someone didn't like swarms of people running around everywhere at 2am and requested it to be removed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The cemetery near my job also had everything cleared out.

Hope Niantic plans to add more soon to make up for the reduction.

They're gonna have to figure out how to do split/choice evolutions before that point. Eevee evolving is just gonna get worse and others like Politoad/Vileplume are gonna suck since they need 100 candies.

The could just set it to unlock at certain levels (like at level 5 willow comes back with 3 new pokeman starters)

Of the 4 gyms near me, 3 are currently owned by 2 guys who are both level 36 and have Pokemon all with 2500+cp +_+. And of course those Pokemon are either dragonites or snorlax

Level friggin 36! Is this common? I thought the exp grew pretty substantially after level 25 or whatever

Seems they are currently working on removing people using "tools" instead of updating. I hear people making third party pokemon go ps to track pokemon etc are getting their accounts banned from itunes store/their google accounts being shut down etc.

I've seen a lot of JP itunes store (which has a pretty low rating now) complaints about super overpowered players, probably the reason why haha

Thats the fucked up. They blame all the radar apps/sites yet have been doing nothing to fix their own system. Its just been getting worse. It went from hard to log on but playable. To easy to log on but unplayable

Their problem is they are trying to force their players to play the game in the way they intended, instead of updating their game to play in the way the players intend to. They aren't 'wrong' in that approach, if that's what they want to do, but time will tell if enough people will continue to play. I'm not sure we have an accurate pulse on the vocal minority here, considering the world-wide player base.
