Still tons of lvl 30+ dragonite gyms in my hood.
Tracker has helped me find several Eevee lately. still would be nice to know which direction to go for when not in car.

Bunch of Gps hackers and botters in Japan still. An egg took over Tokyo Big site, and a few 3,000+ dragonites sitting in the gym right beside the comiket tokyo big site tower gym. Didn't even know about it until Japanese around me while waiting in line were talking about eggs and pokemon and I checked around to see whats going on.
People on FB are saying that using IV checkers are getting people banned as well. I'm a little skeptical, but a little worried to. I was manually doing it up until now. Now I've been using that pgnexus site and apparently sites like that with the "token" login are considered banable because of it logging into your account. I can see that and understand, but really? GPS spoofers and IV checkers are on the same level to them?
Also, is anyone else having really REALLY bad GPS tracking in cities? Open country road, tracks perfectly. Little chick is running her ass off. Get into a city and the GPS constantly stops working. I bounce all over the place, get stuck in some random spot I'm not even at, and it just does NOT keep up. I have to exit and restart and hope it loads me where I actually am. I thought maybe it was the saved Google maps I had for the areas, so I tried deleting them to test. Didn't help. I would have thought that being in an area with more reception towers and signals all over the palce would be better, but apparently not. It was never like this before. They keep breaking things. =(
Edit: Er.. should clarify that I know using "3rd party sites is bannable". I mean I was skeptical of the IV checkers being included in this ban.
Shit... I would hope that using IV checkers would first get a warning. As someone who catches everything in sight and hatches tons of eggs constantly, I check my IV's on token sites like every 3 days. Really hope they don't bring the hammer down for that.
I did catch a 100% perfect Dratini two nights ago and evolved it into a Dragonite with Dreath/Claw. 2950 CP. So in other words, I'm pretty sure I'll be banned in the next couple days knowing my luck.
I don't use GPS spoofing or anything like that but I used IV tracker once to see what I had available, if I get banned for that then I will have a hearty laugh and go on about the rest of my life.
If they seriously start banning people for checking IVs... Then this game is just dead in the water and they very last little bit of the player base will leave. Only things that'll be left are botters.
I manually check my own IVs because I would never give any outside party my login info for anything.
You don't really have to worry about ban rumors being true until it starts showing up on Reddit. Facebook has been full of "THERE BANING EVRY1" posts since day one when people were playing it in countries where it wasn't released yet.
Right now it only looks like they're banning botters but whatever method they're using to flag them is dubious at best because one guy could be running ten accounts and only have three of them currently banned. If you're spoofing/sniping just don't be doing it with a bot.
Which was the biggest reason as to why I doubted it. People on FB aren't the brightest. Figured if anything knew it'd be here.
Hell, the two city groups I belong to jump on anyone who has mons above 2k cp and calls them spoofers... because apparently having a bunch after a month of the game means you cheated. I wish I lived in Omaha or Lincoln. Hell, I wish I lived closer than 45-60 mins from them. Neb City has a nice line of Pokestops, but the rarest mon I saw, and failed to capture, was a Wartortle. Even that is a 20 min drive from my house.
I imagine Id be much higher level with more than 68 in my Dex if I did.
How does IV % work in terms of evolving? Should I evolve a 10 CP pokemon with 95~100% IVs opposed to a 700 CP pokemon with 11% IVs?
IVs never change. You want the one with the higher IV.
Because everyone knows exactly what the process is to know that, right.
That being said, I did have that thought in my head that they just aren't able to differentiate between the two. Not knowing how things on the backend work, I want sure.
Newest FB bullshit: people being banned for using Pokevision.. lol.
Time to start the witch hunt on guessing who gets banned possibly for what!
Meanwhile, I got some annoying bug on my phone that randomly (only happens once per possible pokemon) a slight swipe on my pokeball toward a nearby pokemon, will instead rocket my pokeball into outer space far into the tree's in the background ;/
