Thanks! Gotta pick the right magikarp to turn to a guarados lol. Or is it true the IV is conpletely random once the pokemon evolves?

IVs stay the same when you evolve.
Use with caution. I used it for like 15 minutes and it bounced back to my current location for like 2 seconds before flipping back to the spoof at that point. End result was every Pokémon ran from me instantly and no pokestops worked. So it obviously knew and has applied some sort of soft, hopefully temporary, ban. Actually worried about my account now
And the locations weren't that far apart (20 mins) so it's not like I was spoofing to the opposite end of the country
Edit: PoGo works again now but still a little spooked so wary of using it again.
That because you didn't adjust the settings. Default settings have you running 20 or 30 meters per second. You need to change it to 1 or 3 to not get soft banned for just walking around.
Occasionally you'll jump back to your true location but as long as you don't hit any Poke stops or gyms the second that it happens the server's don't really know what's going on.

Three vapereon upgrades and each one have water pulse, the shittiest move possible. Fuck you RNG.
Don't think that's how it works. It still has lists to pull from since it still marks the map as various categories (water for lakes, for example). It just doesn't have any pokémon nearby due to there being low or no cellular traffic in the area. It is possible it spawns rare pokémon due to said rare pokémon not having popped before. If one Dragonite per day spawns for example, odds are it has not been spawned yet and therefor has a higher than normal chance of spawning with an incense, but it depends entirely on how spawns are calculated. The last part is pure speculation btw, but it's what I think makes the most sense if low populated areas spawn rares more often with an incense active.
any gps spoofers for non jb iOS ?

Where are you trying to spoof? If I travel too far across the world with out giving it time to account for travel, I'll get soft banned. I stay within a town or two, and only go to other countries if I haven't logged in for at least a few hours. Set my speed to 3m, and I'm good to go.
I also turn WiFi off when doing it, just incase.

finally official conformation lol
Went driving today after experiencing a very specific manufacturer defect on MSI Keyboards (Hello no space bar, S key, 6 Key, 7 Key, or Windows Key), bought a new Wireless keyboard and said fuck it.
Bright side is we (Brother and I) went Pokemon hunting for a bit because of it... caught some really nice ones.
Venasaur
Marowak
Taurus(for him, I had)
Koffing
All around my house which is usually shitville... so fucking excited about Marowak and Venasaur.
Figured. I did just try it on the way home from work earlier. Was 4:30AM ish, popped my blinkers on just in case and drove ~10mph with my incense active. Got. Nothing. It didn't even count towards my egg distance which I thought was weird as I was only doing 8~10 MPH. Never had the "you're going too fast!" pop up at all. Hell, I could have probably got out and jogged faster than my car was going (for a short distance).
Was a good day though. At work during break I decided to check what was up. Loaded in and Scyther was right next to me. Unfortunately he's crap. 876CP with 42.22% IV rating. 15 ATK... but 3 Def 1 Stam. After work, decided to do a round of Pokestops in town before heading home. Found a Growlithe finally. Then an 1144CP Dewgong that was 84%... but with shit moves. So added 3 more to my dex today.
Is there any fucking point to gyms? I started late so I'm just level 20, so the best I can do is defeat some of the low level gyms, and even if I win the gym is overtaken within minutes (so I never get the defenders bonus).
No.
I'm curious where you guys have been finding nests in your areas, especially ones that are not public parks. Public parks seem to be the most common place for Pokemon nests and for obvious reasons. They're public so players aren't trespassing and they're usually pretty safe for kids. In my area the local zoo is a Charmander nest, the college I attended has a few different Pokemon that always hang out there, then there's a nest at a public park/pay beach, and a Pikachu nest on this really shitty trail that used to be a landfill. Oh yeah and there's this public park golf course that has a Diglett nest lol. Highly appropriate for a Diglett, but extremely impractical for Pokemon Go. Where else besides parks should we be looking for nests?
I just use gyms to burn up items.

I used to do that, then realized it's more efficient to throw away most gym items in exchange for more swipes for great/ultra balls.

anyone running older android able to GPS spoof im basicly unable to play the game anymore unless i drop 100$'s in pokeballs or spoof to an area in town with stops i can actually collect for a few hours each day
If your area is too competitive to hold a gym more than a few minutes, you take the gym and immediately claim your reward. Free 4000 stardust and incense/lucky egg every 8 days (or lure every 10th day). Theres no mandatory minimum waiting period for the reward. Even if you lose the gyms within 90 seconds there's still plenty of time to claim your reward immediately after sticking a pokemon on it.
That said, the balls:medicine ratio was altered and balls now significantly outweigh the meds. Finding myself short on meds and I typically only battle ~2-3 gyms per day. Need to stop sticking my Chansey on gyms.... over 300 HP means two hyper potions or a lot of super potions :/
