Soooo.. there seems to be a bug related to your devices time/clock. If your clock is off, you won't get spawns through lures/incense. This explains why I didn't get anything during my country road incense trip like people are going on and on about. Found out tonight. Got off work early and dropped two lures are a stop that has 4 real close together, woman there dropped another. Stood around chatting, she kept getting spawns that weren't showing up on mine. Ok, she had an incense up maybe that's why. Fast foward, popped another two lures, guy shows up. They're both getting stuff and I'm not. Not a damn thing. He pops a lure after mine wear off. Still continue getting things and nothing on mine. I knew something had to be wrong now.

Came home, googled, find out the issue. Set my time/date to automatic. Haven't gotten to check to see if it's fixed now... but I'm kind of pissed about blowing 4 lures and not getting a damn thing because of some stupid bug.

Probably intentional to not work unless clock is set to automatic as that would fix an exploit that existed.

It likely doesn't work now from what you're describing but you used to be able to pop an Incense (or Lucky Egg) and then set your clock backwards and it would increase your time remaining as long as you didn't set it to before to the time you popped your incense/egg.

So for example you could pop an Incense at 12:00 and then at 12:29 just before it wears off you could change your clock time to 12:01 and it would reset back to 29 minutes remaining

That would explain why whenever I pop an incense it only lasts 27mins(the timer actually starts are 27:59). My clock was about 3 mins faster than the clock at work. Sucks that I got bitched out of my lures/incense because of not knowing about that. This whole damn time... no wonder I wasn't getting any Pokemon. I kind of want to rant to Niantic and demand 4 lures... *sigh*

I had no idea my phone wasn't set to automatic time. I'm not even sure why it wasn't. I don't see why I wouldn't have put it to that when I got it. So very frustrating. =/

Sorry to double post, but I wanted to confirm the incense on a country road thing. Now that I got them working again...

I wasn't far enough away from spawns at first I think. I got a train of common crap. There had been an Eevee on the radar right as I turned onto the gravel road to my house. Once I got far enough away, that's when the good stuff started... until I hit a spot with things on the radar again resulting in the second wave of crap.

Got three new Pokemon. Pikachu, Kabuto, and Pinsir.

Here's everything I caught, minus a few run-a-ways. Mostly crap with a Nidoran M being the "worst" that ran.

Going to try it again some time with another of the country roads here. Hoping to find one with no spawns at all to interrupt me. Only thing is losing 4G... lost the last 2 mins of my incense because I lost internet.

Ok so someone explain to me how to get shit from taking over a gym. I took over one and had it all day. But I couldn't see how to get anything. After about 8 hours my pokemon was beaten and returned. But I didn't get shit. idgi

Soon as you take one OR add a pokemon to a gym, go to the store in app. In the upper right corner will be an icon. You must click that to get your reward. Be warned though, you can only get 1 reward per 21 hours.

Someone said you can get incubators
