Pokemon Go (Mobile July 2016)

My LG G3's GPS doesn't work for shit. It's such a pain in the ass hatching eggs. The game also destroys my battery (battery saver on, brightness all the way down, no sound/music/vibration). I'm due for an upgrade in October (Verizon). Money is tight, but I'm looking at the s7 or OnePlus 3. What android phone do you guys recommend? And is something coming out in 2017 I should wait for? I really wanted the LG G5, but apparently a lot of people hate it.

S6 edge. My last Samsung phone and mobile product. The market has so many decent phones under $300 USD and I'm wasting it on a name tag and bloatware.

The phone handles the game like a champ. I noticed when I go HAM without any powersavers, the GPS accuracy and the game's reporting on eggs are much more accurate. Usually no lag either on catching and opening eggs.

catch the Pokémon with a button on Pokémon GO Plus and then continue on your way (later, you can check your Journal to see which Pokémon you’ve just caught).

Wait why does that make it sound like its eliminating the pokeball catching minigame? lol

I don't think it's been confirmed, but ever since I heard of the watch it's always been described as a one-button catch. What they didn't elaborate on is if all pokemon can be caught like that, or if only certain pokemon will trigger the watch and free catch.

You can only use the watch on pokemon you've already caught before.

Only Pokemon you've caught before will be able to be caught using the watch. I don;t think it's a guaranteed catch either.

I don't like this press button, receive pokemon. I doubt it's 100% but it seems to take away from the app itself. I like the pokestop collection option though.

No mention of it tracking distance for eggs, but I don't see why it wouldn't. If it doesn't then I won't bother. If it does, I'll grab one.

I haven't seen anything but the tear drop pokeball look for it.

Also, what, if any, in game poke chat apps do you use? Are they against TOS? (Not sure how they work so not sure if it's an issue.)

Mostly interested in it to see if people announce spawns. If I'm walking around I'd love to know if say a Gyardos spawns where I just was at, but just out of range of my radar.

That and sometimes my horrible social anxiety keeps me back from being chatty. It's ridiculous how I can sometimes, then out of nowhere this overwhelming fear strikes and the anxiety kicks in and I start to panic.
