I dont think it'll ever come back. I think they realized the legal issues of "this game made people come onto my property" or whatever and so they removed it for good.

It's not so much morons as much as it is them being liable for so much shit. Why else do you think they added so many disclaimers. Im not a driver, Im a passenger. Dont trespass or enter dangerous areas. At launch all they said was "make sure you are aware of your surroundings" because I dont think they fully realized all the ways they could get legally fucked over.

That being said, I hope they do find a way to bring tracking back as it was the only time I really enjoyed playing this game. If they bring it back with gen 2 I wouldnt be surprised if there's a resurgence in the game. However at Niantic's update rate that'll probably be 10 years.

Gyms to allow up to 6 Pokemon to be Trained instead of 1

The update brings enhancements to the Gym by allowing Trainers to bring six Pokemon to battle instead of one when training at a friendly Gym.

In addition, the Combat Points of the Pokemon they train against may be temporarily lowered while in session. The CP will “generally match the battle capabilities” of the Pokemon being trained.

That's existed for a while. They increased the scan time so if you were going too fast you wouldn't be able to get anything.

Niantic says that having a Buddy ‘mon active will net you four times the usual rewards, catching monsters will give you six candies, and transfers will be worth two candies. It’s a bonanza.

I.. I still dont have a Hypno. I have almost every other Pokemon in the game.

The event looks cool but I'd still rather have better tracking (or Pokemon lasting for 30minutes before despawn) or even gen 2. Or hell, some decent QoL changes like rerolling moves, adding a "third" move that buffs/status/etc. This new egg color shit is something they should have implimented in July.

Drowzee is more common in Winnipeg than Zubats or Ratatatatatatatatatatatatatatas. It says a lot about my city.

The stupid speed limit thing absolutely kills buddy hunting while driving. Boyfriend driving, I watch nearby. Me driving, Boyfriend watches nearby. I finally got him to play and they go and fuck it up.

Zubat aren't all that common here. Nor is Ghastly. Hoping to get a better Gengar add mine got crap moves.

Hope to get a decent amount of buddy candy for my Dratini. Close to evolving to Dragonair, but he is only 77% as I've not caught better.

Upset with how unplayable this game is for me now. Eggs havent moved an inch in days, can't even really ride my bike with it because one downhill section or a bad GPS signal and whoop "going to fast" so long any progress I've made. Both my brothers quit and I don't like walking alone...

So my only options are work or driving really slow around my neighboorhood. I work in a warehouse, walking around that big place... Half the time I look at my phone "Going to fast". As I crawl through a warehouse and what would even be considered "Slow" for a slow walking speed... because of GPS... Bye bye progress.

So yah, I wanted to love this game and I've stuck out for as long as I can but I just can't make the most out of what little this game has to offer, and what little ways I had of doing anything don't seem to be working anymore.
