ohh Heracross launched with Gen 2, but only in a band around the equator (and high north as Southern Florida).

Unown also launched with Gen 2, but super rare.

Yeah. Corsola is also the same way (regional only, again mostly deep southern US).

Managed to beat a tyranitar today. Got 11 of those special pokeballs and a bunch of berries, but I could use hardly any of them because the damn thing would not stop moving. I tried to time it so that it'd hit as soon as he was done moving, but sometimes he almost instantly started again. Wasn't able to get it, ugh

Tyranitar being a stage 2 evo, it's a tough as fuck to catch Pokemon regardless. I have like a 50% catch rate on the raid ones, so don't feel bad.

If you ended up with spare gold razzberries, you can use them to seriously ramp up your gym badge exp. Either find or stuff a 3000+ CP Pokemon in the Gym. They'll lose CP ten times faster than anything 2999 CP or less.

Once it runs down completely (1/5 it's original CP, which for a 3K is around 600 CP), hit it with one of the gold razzberries. 2400 badge exp, minimum.

That's not Gym XP you are looking at, that's the amount of CP being restored.

It does if I'm near the gym, but it also removes "favorite" status from pokemon...
