You can't use rl money to level up pokemon and stuff. So I don't see how money helps. Money just helps incubate faster, give you poke hot spots, bag/inventory space

Money helps you buy balls, that in returns lets you catch more pokemon and lets your level up faster

If you level up faster you can find higher CP pokemon


But there's luck base too!

I do wonder how many potions and revives I should keep on me. I am rocking 66 potions and 59 revives. Seems a bit excessive considering inventory issues being real. Some pokemon take some major ball loss though, I have had some break out 6x+ before being caught

I keep Pokeballs at 150, 25 revives and 75 potions.

No. It erases your original game according to people online. It's why I'm just waiting on PTC to work rather than start over with google. I figured it'd be fixed by now though. It's been past 24 hours of fucking broken.

I'm running low on poke balls (39) but only because I'm lazy about going to pokestops and also throw loads of balls like a spastic by swiping the screen without looking whilst driving

Fun game so far. Downloaded it last night (midnight) took a short walk after getting my starter. Caught a Weedle in front of my next door neighbor's house. (lulz)

Then this morning, there's a Paras in my front yard, a Rattatta at the nearby church (Pokestop) and later on a Raticate but when I caught the Raticate my game froze and haven't been able to get back on.

I think once Niantic fixes the issues with the servers on their end, this game is going to get me out of the house a hell of a lot more.

Game is back working for me. Just walked a couple of blocks and caught a Bulbasaur. Interesting to see a Starter pokemon out there like that.

Only thing worth buying is lucky egg and incense tbh.

Only time you pop egg+incense are:

-You save up 10+ pokemon evolve worth of candy, then Evolution all at once while egg active, especially new pokemon evolution.
-You're at dense pokemon hotspot, for some reason Walmart and other groceries stores near my house are PACKED with pokemon.


it's pretty wasteful to pop incense+egg and just wander around willy nilly, only pop it when you know you'll be getting something out of it.
