Pokemon Go (Mobile July 2016)

Twice now I've faught a Gym leader, beat them, and their Pokemon sat at like 2% HP and never acted and I never got a win for it, so I was just sitting there, in an endless battle, until I eventually had to close my app and reopen it.

Getting real tired of your shit game... can't even let me beat gyms.

So what's up with these Pokemon stats? I'll have a 43cp Eevee with 18hp and a 39cp Eevee with 19hp. The 39cp should have more HP when fully powered up right?

They both had different attacks though. Is this kind of like stat weights? Less hp if they have better attacks?

There is also the xs/xl weight and size pokemon. Am I just looking way too into these things? lol

You can see how far along they are, CP wise, by looking at the arching bar above/around the Pokemon when you're examining them, this fills as you power them up, up to a cap for that Pokemon (If you level them up before you evolve them, they maintain the power bar, so dont worry about pre or post leveling it carries over from what I've experienced). As far as the lesser CP having more HP? That's probably a sign of what it'll evolve into since so far it seems RNG (but may be pre-determined based on your stuff there)., t

that or I'm looking to far into it and they dragged that IV shit into this game.

If you evolve the pokemon yourself versus catching it, your stats are better for it. The same goes for leveling it up to max before evolving. But for the effort involved, it's probably better to evolve for the exp and only level up a pokemon you really want to power up.

From what I had read, HP is partially determined by size. XS have less HP, XL have more.

I don't know, I've had larger pokemon with higher cp that had the same hp as a normal sized pokemon with Less cp.

I almost feel like size is a non factor in stats, but I honestly have no idea.

stopped a small town gas station there was 7 Pokémon sitting out when I drove up lol. and the more random Pokémon are going to take forever just had a random vulpix pop up at home.

Haunter, Tangela, Slowpoke, Exeggcute, Arbok, Jigglypuff, Ekans and more from a double lure with my buddy for 2 hours after dinner.

Also a disturbing amount of Doduos, Pidgeys and Zubats

just started, grabbed a bulbasaur for starter, and immediatly found a pidgey at 24 cp, a 33cp nidoran male, 13 cp eevee all in my bedroom in immediate reach. was celebrating my success and immediately a clefairy popped in my bedroom too, 15 cp.

Having pokeballs issue due to where I live, I'll have to go stop at a poke stop for a while lol

Also I have 2 gyms that I own 1 with a paras lv 137 and one with a 200 beedrill

My beedrill got beaten but not my paras lol

Also do gyms reset about a while?

Yesterday I went to a movie with the GF passed next to a gym and it was blue ( I'm red) so said fuck it don't have time atm, after the movie the exact same gym was white, and was able to take it easily with my awesome paras lv 137

Are you people just jogging nonstop since this shit came out or do I have stupid bad luck? I've only got 2 stops and 1 gym within reasonable walking distance of my place and I'm lucky to maybe run into 3 pokemon on that 2-mile loop to hit them all up. I don't see how you guys have multiple evolved pokemon and several thousand spare dusts.

No they dont reset, when you look at a gym stat, you'll see their prestige points. When you beat a gym, their prestige point goes down and often they de-level, and when it reaches 0, the gym will revert back to neutral and you can take it over. So for a high level gym you need to beat it a few times to take it over. But you can also battle your own gym to increase its prestige points to level it up, but only with 1 of your strongest pokemon instead of a whole team, this is also a way of "defending" your gym from an attack. The higher level gym, the more pokemon people from your team can put inside to guard it.

So technically if you have friends from the same team, you can level the fuck out of a gym that you own and put a bunch of pokemons to guard it.

Only during daytime. At night time/late night time is perfect time to drive around and catch pokemon in the rural suburbs housing area LMAO, I can literally drive 8-10 mph or stop in the middle of a street to catch pokemon cause there is no one/ no traffic around.

Man, some people are making my local bar a real fortress. They are now up to a full 6 Pokemon team and all of them are 500+, the weakest being a Dragonair. Some are 1000+

Also drove past Universal Studios yesterday and all the pokestops and gyms there are crazy.
