Pokemon Go (Mobile July 2016)

Man, some people are making my local bar a real fortress. They are now up to a full 6 Pokemon team and all of them are 500+, the weakest being a Dragonair. Some are 1000+

Also drove past Universal Studios yesterday and all the pokestops and gyms there are crazy.

One of the gyms near me is owned by a 1150 fucking Vapereon.

Last night around midnight I evolved an eevee into an 800 flareon. The church at the end of my street is a gym, so i had no choice but to walk there and take the gym over. still there, woo and such

Are you people just jogging nonstop since this shit came out or do I have stupid bad luck? I've only got 2 stops and 1 gym within reasonable walking distance of my place and I'm lucky to maybe run into 3 pokemon on that 2-mile loop to hit them all up. I don't see how you guys have multiple evolved pokemon and several thousand spare dusts.

If you're not in a high traffic area, or drive around a lot late at night, then no, you're not going to be getting much progress due to lack of spawns and pokeballs. Best I can do is pick up whatever I find on my walks and re-stock on balls when I go do errands.

I took the dog for a walk this morning, popped an incense and was catching pokemon every like block. Also picked up some Weedles to get a Kabuto (Beedrill here I come!), plus found and caught an ivysaur.

I was at Fenway for a sox game last night, and there is a gym literally on the pitchers mound. You wouldn't believe how many times that gym changed owners over the course of the game. It was literally like "oh sweet, beat the gym leader! Time to claim it with my.....fucking damnit someone claimed it already."

So does spinning the ball before you try to catch a pokemon actually help with the catch rate of some of the harder ones?

I use a razzberry and hold until the inner circle is small.

Yeah, wait until the colored circle is small, and aim good. Darker colored circles are harder to catch over lighter colored ones.

A lot of young kids walking around town today not paying attention to where they're going staring at their phone, now I know why. I wonder how many car accidents and kidnappings are going to happen as a direct result of this game.

Went to the park today, had like 20 peole walking around playing pokemon droppin lures, I caught like 15 magikarp on a pokestop by a pond with lure active. Also caught a 871 Tentacruel and a Dratini. Seadra on walmart haha.

Talked to a guy, he was lv22. Apparently you start getting Ultra balls at lv20

I was just about to walk to the park down my street when the servers went down b/c someone dropped a lure. Oh well. Haven't caught anything big but I'm just scratching the surface right now.

Took the bus downtown about an hour ride through the city. High traffic volume made the bus move slow. I have more potiones and revives to last me for a long time. Found so many Pokemon notibly a charmander and a jigglypuff. So many that I felt like upgrading for more space. .......... ride the bus for resources and large amount of mobs. Also hatched 3 eggs.
