Can't link IGN but big plans are coming to overhaul the game. Also trades are coming soon as well as a different gym battle set up. They would be stupid to not put all their effort into this game with this amount of attention.
Missed out on a Vulpix earlier today. I was pulling into my parking garage where cell signals are nonexistent. I should have pulled over to the side of the road before pulling into the garage. I really want a Ninetails.
Finally caught the asshole Scyther hanging around my neighborhood.
The eeveelutions should require 50 candies, 25 is unbalanced with how high their CP caps are
on another note, evolving pidgeys/weedles/caterpies (things that don't require much candy) is the easiest exp once you arent catching new pokes all the time
Finally caught me a Pikachu. Little asshole was tricky, he kept doing a flip move that deflects ballz.
Spoiler: show
Shit is getting crazy, you can't go anywhere without seeing people that are very obviously playing Pokemon Go. Local businesses are putting down modules and offering discounts to attract everybody.
I've never played passed the original Pokemon games with gen1 so I was curious to see lists/charts of all the newer gen2-6 pokemon but it's surprisingly hard to find. Help me BG Pokemon diehards, where can I find a straightforward listing of all the pokies?
Anyone know if it's worth powering up anything at all before evolving or just going for it?

best to wait until you catch something you want to evolve that already has high CP - you dont want to waste powder capping a pidgey only to catch a pidgey that's already capped (or a pidgeotto). powering up pre- versus post- evolution doesn't make a difference
Random battles are overpowered. Watch out.
11:30 PM.... see a Pikachu nearby and I seriously considered going looking for it. I need to turn my phone off.
I had that exact same experience with a Pigeot today. Also with a Ponyta. The servers go up and down like a seesaw. Shit's annoying.
Went to the mall today, there was a contested gym right in the middle of it that changed color every few minutes, and a bunch of teens talking loudly about how they'd lose their shit if they found a Magmar. Bf and I were hunting a Raticate that popped near Sears (which I also didn't get to catch due to server freeze), since we were talking about it loudly enough a lady pushing a stroller past us furtively whipped out her phone to catch it too lol.
I dunno which team I want to join. They're all pretty loud across the internet, but it seems like a good investment to actually think about the team you join since businesses are offering discounts for this shit and meetups will probably happen too. Or maybe I'm overthinking it. I'm assuming you can't ever change it once you choose?
Got a magikarp, only 397 more to go.
This shit is absurd
Haven't played Pokemon ever, I'm 27, service tech traveling across most of central Indiana. Hopping out of the work truck at random intervals to catch these bastards and loving it.
What's happening to me
Uninstalled for now. Gonna wait til more features get added. I need to be able to fight people and do stuff. Not just catch another 500 Doduos.
Not all pokemon are the same though. The pokemon you find with lower cp can often (but not always) cap higher than a pokemon that started off near the end of their growth. However, with how hard it is to farm dust in a timely manner, it might not be worth the effort to get a little extra cp out of a pokemon unless you're really min maxing.

Just level them up slowly after evolving. The cap difference is negligible.
They are so anti-mainstream and hipster.
I want to play more but there's not much left to do for now. I'll reinstall when they update.
Finally hatched my first egg. Game crashed and when I relaunched it no new Pokemon. Egg was gone.
Awesome.
