They really need to make it about going out and finding shit, everything being in condensed areas is kind of against the whole point of the game.

The little square up in town where kids used to go way back in the day has been filled for the first time in years every single night by high school kids. Probably 50+ kids each night plus all the groups of 3-4 with their phones out walking around. Kinda wanna sit in the square one day cause there's always lures but I'm 25 and would look like a creepo.

On the other hand.... by my house all I see is fucking birds and rats. It's annoying others get eevees and Magikarps and shit.

Well, it wouldn't behoove them to do that due to cell-phone coverage. It is a cell phone game, so it makes sense that more spawns where there's more coverage. It definitely could be evened out some more and hopefully the player submissions will increase the pokestop and gym locations.

First time coming into this post and instead of reading through 1000 posts...couple questions...

how do you track pokemon other than the very vague 0/1/2/3 prints

how do you get pokestop modules?

Pokestop Modules can be purchased with Pokecoins (1 for 100 coins or 8 for 680 coins). You also get them when you attain a certain trainer level. Could probably get them rarely at Pokestops like 10km eggs. 21 levels in and I've only gotten two 10km eggs.

As for the tracking system, it's best to open it and leave it open so you can see if you're getting closer or further away. Click on the Pokemon you want to track and start walking a direction. If it moves up the chart, then you are headed in the right direction. If it moves down the list or disappears, then you are headed in the wrong direction (or it has despawned if you took too long). Use this chart religiously. I have caught everything I set out to catch (when I'm not at work).

Once you are 0-1 footprints away, look for the ruffled leaves and head towards that. It will usually spawn in the vicinity at that point.

Everytime I "catch" a pokemon my client just loses connection (though pretty steady 4G where I am, have no problem accessing youtube etc).

I downloaded googlemaps and got offline maps to see if this would help but it's just a constant issue.

Will this die down when people chill a bit or is this a reported issue?

You can drive around to get them, yes. That's how most of mine are captured; my wife getting them for me while I drive.

Not Moltres, but I got that fucking Hitmonlee that froze up on me last time. Other than that, just some dupes and my two 5km eggs hatched into a Shellder and Meowth. There's a Lickitung near my office, but I'm not going to wander for it.

Think the wife and I are going to try going to the local bar that has a Pokestop across from it. Put down a lure and throw up an incense and a Lucky egg and try to powerlevel this shit.
