More confirmation... just evolved 3 Eevees, all 3 evolved as per the names.
I kinda of feel like its a straight Double or Halved effect. I had a few pokes resistant to my Golbat and Pidgeot, got the "It's not very effective" message and it seemed to do decreased damage.
Granted, this is just eyeballing it. But the messages do appear and if theyve kept it true to the series then it is a straight 2x or 1/2 damage for typing.
The medal used to say something about the size of the rattata.
It means you caught one in the top percentage in reality.
oh my God where have I been also 1544 vaporeon
my team so far need to catch more lol
Spoiler: show
Al pokemon abilities are subject to change after an evolution
Afaik currently there is no 0x, .25x, and 4x right now. Only .5x, 1x, and 2x? I figure it's probably due to the battle system being stupid and only have two random moves.
Just got jinx from 10km egg, special is maidens kiss....... sucks
Not sure if posted but...
The team is currently heads down working on the game. We do not have any announced plans for countries beyond New Zealand, Australia, US and Germany at the moment.

Had to pick up something from a police station/municipal building a county over. Get in the car to leave after and see a genguar on map but 3 footsteps away and don't have time to get it. Then it suddenly pops under me and I catch it. It's weak as fuck but woohoo.
Had that happen to me today driving home from work. Ive been stalking a Dratini around my apartment complex for like 3 days. Always 3 footprints away no matter how far I walked or in what direction.
Was sitting in traffic waiting to turn left into the complex and pop...Dratini time.
So if I evolve a Pokemon with good CP and it's abilities roll like 5 and 15 am I fucked?
I'm really curious on the algorithm of the footprints. I hunted down a 1-3 step footprint Scyther that was in my neighborhood for a day or two, only for it to spawn while walking to my car one night when it wasn't even on the nearby list. Something similar happened today while chasing down a one paw print Bulbasaur only for a Poliwhirl to spawn out of nowhere, with the Bulbasaur nowhere in sight afterwards. People keep giving tips about it, but it almost seems entirely random from my experience.
This shit is FFXI NM's all over again.
I had a really flabbergasting and somewhat frustrating experience with the pokemon tracker just moments ago. Got out of work, turned on my app as I was walking to my car and a fucking Dragonite silhouette was on it. Went to a nearby stop that had a lure on and showed a couple other players as well as asked if they were seeing the same thing and they said they weren't.
So I went after it anyway. Had the little box in the corner bouncing green so I knew I was going in the right direction. Got it from 6th in the priority list down to 2nd, but it was still 3 paw prints away. The moment it hit top priority as far as nearest pokemon to me, it fucking despawned.
Was disappointing to say the least. I did get a Bulbasaur from a 2km egg today though. And I've pinpointed the exact area I need to be to spawn the fuck out of Charmander at work too. So I'm gonna start my big trek towards getting a Charizard in the next few days.
Supposedly pokemon cycle in something like 15 minute intervals (might be shorter or longer idk too much stuff is not working as intended). If you don't find it within 15 mins you can probably kiss it goodbye.
Does it seem like whenever you use an incense it reshuffles one or two pokemons in your nearby list that you haven't caught yet? Or am I going crazy...
