I'll take Eevee lol. They're some of the best right now if you can evolve all 3. I was able to take out a 1200 flareon with a 770 vaperon.

Caught a few pokemon at millbrook part, there's 2 stops and a few people were parked in their cars due to the weather lol.

The notion that weather/seasons would factor into pokemon finds seems like arbitrary rumors to me. There's no indication the game tracks the planet's weather, and why the fuck would anybody stand in the rain with their smartphone out?

My city had a Pokemon Go gathering last night and about 5,000 people were listed as "going". People were chanting their team names, wearing shirts, decals, and bracelets with their team colors. It was charming and a little cringey too.

Apparently some script kiddie group calling themselves PoodleCorp claims they were the reason the Pokemon Go servers were down for 5+ hours earlier today; they're apparently trying to revive the Lizard Squad shit from a couple years ago.

Possibly a dumb question but do you know when you use a lure, do you have to be within 'the barriers' it shows sort of like a broken circle around the pokestop?

Lures should be centered around you, so the effect follows you.

The pokestop lures are centered around that location and don't follow you.

Why can't I leave a Pokemon at my gym? Is there a benefit of me fighting Pokemon at my gym and/or rival team gym?

Piggy backing off vagus, but how the fuck can I put in my own pokemon at a gym held by my team. Nearby gym has a weakass lickitung which I can body for free, but the next pokemon is a strong ass arcanine that I can barely scratch. I wanna replace the lickitung obviously.

Fight your own gym to raise it's prestige. Every 1000 adds a new slot.

Yeah, each gym can only have a few pokemon assigned to it. You have to open up slots in your own gyms by battling them to raise their prestige. But there is a cap, if there are already too many pokemon in there (think it's something like 8?) then you can't add more. And of course you gotta watch out for people taking your gym while you're raising prestige :D had that happen to me.

How long will it be before the internet is just flooded with Chinese account sellers and scams claiming to give away free Pokecoins etc. Garbage quality Pokemon Go related apps, some with viruses, are already on or pulled from the Google Play store.

Went back to the park after the storm cleared out and walked around for a couple more hours. Hatched a Sandshrew out of a 10k egg and an Onix in a 5k egg. Got a Beedrill, Mankey, Ivysaur, and a 610CP Parasect. Made it to level 14. Having to toss lots of potions and revives now because my bag keeps filling. One of the gyms in the park is held by a an 1800CP Dratini, god damn lol

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to stir shit up outside of poopdeck, but what city do you live in? There's not a single person of colour in any of your pics lol. I found it kind of amusing, black people too busy rallying for BLM stuff, white people too busy catching em' all.

Edit:So a Vaporeon spawned in Central Park at 11pmEST. This happened



Thousands of people for a Vaporeon. I can't imagine the insanity if they did something like that with some legendary Pokemon

lol, just a larger version of the ivysaur that spawned outside my house. a couple people encounter it, a few more might see it nearby and try to locate it... then someone does. after that it kinda steamrolls as people notice a crowd of cellphone users huddled in spot and more head over suspecting a rare pokemon.

Mine was only 8 people, and that was in an apartment complex. not even an an open obvious area, it was in the trail at the back of it, not too many people are there since it's on the edge of the place and the other side is a nature trail for miles.

I can all too easily imagine the same thing happened here, only it was on a road where people driving by would easily notice, and with a higher crowd density.

Also, as far as my own area, orange county doesn't have many african americans, like... maybe 1-2% at most of the population. (probably because it's a gathering place for the superwealthy.) there ARE a lot of asians, especially from taiwan/china/japan, indians, mexicans, and of course caucasians. closer to glendale where it's more industry and cheaper rent, however, the demographic shifts a lot toward asian in general, with vietnamese and even more chinese demographics. still somewhat low on african americans there, but more common.

That said, while glendale isn't the prettiest town, it DOES have a ton of amazing asian restarants there. korean bbqs, curry house, ramen shops, etc.... plus asian markets. it's actually very common to see shop signs in korean and the like there, haha.

different towns just have different demographics based on location, cost of living, etc. i know when i lived in waxhaw, NC (yeah, you probably haven't heard of it) the population was closer to half african, 25% caucasians, 24% european/red heads/blonds, and .5% mexican and asian each, lol.
