Pokemon Go (Mobile July 2016)

Found a bike path that leads to the ocean with 4 gyms along the way. Guess I'm going to be walking 3 miles nearly everyday to capture and turn in my defending points for free currency. Game is going to make me healthier then I ever was. Trying to keep a gym longer then 10 minutes is a really frustrating endeavor.

Yeah let's use this awesome tool to promote business to further promote a massive, shitty, restaurant chain. Fucking-a man. They could've made small business promotion packages and probably made even more money and helped others in the long run.

I wouldn't eat at McDonalds even if they put Anna Kendrick fleshlights in the happy meals, McDs should invest the bazillion they just paid Niantic to figure out how to make half edible quasi~healthy food.

If they're only rolling this out in Japan, well... I hear Japan's McDonald's quality is higher than in other parts of the world, though I haven't tried it myself. I don't think they're as universally despised in Japan as in Murica.

Apparently they're pretty rare. I've only ever seen 1 squirtle and 1 bulbasaur.

Caught Squirtle today at Canada's Wonderland and got Charmander out of my first egg (a 2k). I downloaded the app on the way to the park haha. My friends were pissed about the Charmander, we all caught the Squirtle.

Really want a Growlithe though.

Hit level 25 today. Also for the lures: Its every 5 minutes OR a certain distance moved. As in, if you are walking while using incense, it'll pop Pokemon like crazy.

There's an embroidery shop at my local mall that has been selling PoGo hats and decals like CRAZY. Buddy of mine got a custom one made with Mystic on the front and the swoosh from the front of Ash's hat on the back for $40.

Doesn't help that being outside for longer than 5 minutes in this heat is pretty much suicide. (Well, not really, but still highly uncomfortable. I ain't sweating for this shit. Fuck Florida.)

Yah basically you need to just... wait for cooler weather (or dry weather) and go for some walks in popular Poke-stop areas. I'm level 18 and only because I had a good day or so last weekend and was able to walk around the Zoo which had lots of stops (plus I drive for a living so I can stop in a lot of places... keyword: Stop).

Either way, I really hate they released this in the dead ballsweat of summer... couldn't they have waited until like, Fall? When it wasn't a fucking chore to just breathe outside?

Fall comes up against Sun/Moon release. Releasing now gets all the kids to pester their parents to buy pokecoins since theyre not in school.

I've just gotten around it here in Georgia by staying in my car with the AC going. Town Square near my work is a good place to spend lunch and if I park in the right spot I hit all 8-10 pokestops and the gym without having to move.
