I've found a few Bulbasaurs at a park, even an Ivysaur, but I've yet to encounter any Charmanders or Squirtles in the wild.

Charmander is the only one I haven't seen in the wild. I've see Squirtle, Wartortle, Bulba and Ivysaur. Have a couple friends who found a Blastoise near their house

I've got all 3, and by far Bulbasaur being the most common (Maybe linked to him being my starter? Probably not)... as I've seen like 8 Bulbasaur/Ivysaur or more... while I've seen 3 Squirtles, and 2 Charmander.

I've been taking nightly rides through the hood. Only lvl 12 still. Thinking I am going to save all my 10km eggs and evolving anything other than pidgey spearow drowzee and rattatas until lvl 20 for max cp.

Holy hell, I seem to be leveling so slow. It's like I'm missing something here. I collect as many as I can so I can pop a lucky egg and evolve a bunch of Pokemon. Doing this usually nets me like 2 levels but it's far and few between when I can do this. All the gyms I'm near has mid 20s level players dominating the gyms and I can't come close at 14. Is there something else I'm missing?

There are 2k+ mons all over the place here.

Does a gym have to be held for exactly 21 hours to get coins? or is it like JP midnight? or a certain time of day the server refreshes?

You can literally put your pokemon there and immediately claim a reward

I just did that today; smoked 5 gyms within a few block radius of my place and claimed those sweet sweet coins. I didn't want to press my luck and try to take all 7 that are within a 4 block radius. I was too paranoid of having some punk kids take them over. lol

Literally every block in Manhattan has at least 4 pokes tops. I read theme parks are exp mines also.
