Pokemon Go (Mobile July 2016)

I've noticed that some Pokemon have a higher escape ratio regardless of CP level. If it's something I really want to catch (like the starters for 4 candy) I Rasp Berry them and throw a Great or Ultra Ball. Even if the CP is crazy low. Not taking any chances of those fuckers fleeing or the game freezing me out of additional throws.

Also if i were a tinfoil hat man I'd say they removed the footstep tracking thing on purpose to decrease server stress. Otherwise I can't imagine why it's still broke.

yeah I spent like 20 pokeballs yesterday trying to catch a Drowzee. I would slide straight up and the ball would sparkle away to the right like "LOL CURVEBALLZ"


it only happens on ones that are really hard to catch, so it's definitely not just me

I was searching youtube for it last night too, everyone had their phones out so SOMEONE should have video'd it but so far nothing. Just a mention of it on the local area facebook comments, "So, had to leave Desert Breeze Park yesterday because somebody set the dumpsters on fire and the cops kicked everyone out.... "

It was a pretty big fire. But still, vandalism because of PoGo

At this point I have so many berries from Pokestops and not enough balls so I am using a berry on anything that I remotely want to catch. And since I am not battling gyms very much I end up tossing a lot of potions and revives to make room for more pokeballs and great balls.

Had a nice lucky egg, got nearly 3 levels. Would have gotten all 3 but the damn game crashed and I could evolve all of my 18 Pidgeys and 9 Weedles among others.

Maybe it's a Kentucky thing, but I recall it being a "stand your ground" state. There's definitely been reports in the area over the years of shootings over robbery and trespassing where the shooter was cleared, unarmed or otherwise. Prolly just something that's vastly different state to state. Too lazy to look up what Florida's stance is.

Its not 'standing your ground' if you proceed off your property to confront them and then shoot at them from behind as they flee. If thats legit in KY its probably better to call it a 'legalized attempted murder' doctrine. Pokemon Go players do need to be mindful and considerate of the places and times they're hunting, but if some kid were to get shot cause of some cranky ass gun toting lunatic in my neighborhood I'd make sure the DA knows I'd like to see murder charges.

Accelerating a car at someone near point blank (if that's how it actually went down) is certainly cause to go for self defense, but he dodged it and fired after the fact. Not sure how that'd play out. Far as I can tell, Florida has pretty lax SYG laws.
