The higher lv you are the faster Pokemon escape. Doesn't matter if it's a 10CP Pokemon they will resist and flee like no tomorrow

It's one of my big gripes about the game as a whole, there is no feeling of getting stronger as a trainer aside catching higher lv Pokemon. Instead the game works the opposite and makes everything from a lv 1 mob harder the higher you get

Servers have been the best today they have been since I've been playing. Didn't have a single freeze or crash all night. Did have a few bullshit fake curveballs, though.

I still dont understand pokevision. In my area of Chicago, I have to manually place marker and search every 30 sec and barely find anything. When I go to Hyde Park or downtown or north side, all I have to do is click and all the pokemon automatically load up without searching.

Also seeing how my neighborhood has a small amount of pokemon spawned and fairly common pokes. When I go to the areas listed above, there are like 5 times as many pokemon. The piers and boatyards downtown are FUCKING SWARMING with pokemon, like 8 pokemon stacked on each other.

how come pokevision can find pidgeys and ratattas a half mile away but I need to move the marker to within a block to find squirtles and rhyhorns

like that doesn't even make sense from a technical standpoint...

pls understand I'm not complaining. shit is free, I have no right to complain. just saying...

My guess is the pokevision maps are populating based upon people pinging areas thus showing recent updates on the site? Maybe pokemon density is based upon the number of pings received from devices? At home there's very little activity. A library about a half mile away with 4 stops on a single location is swarming since there's at least 5-10 people chilling at the parking lot at times.

that's what I was starting to think maybe see 6 Pokemon in my entire town

I've heard pokemon spawns are influenced by cellular activity, ie more people = more spawns.

Makes sense... I was also kind of curious why there were Pokemon at my house ( my immediate neighborhood doesn't have anyone who plays it ). I assume it's because I have at least 2 others who play the game at my place which would create a mini-spawn point.

So, I may have accidentally stumbled across a Dratini nest here in Houston, TX. I was headed elsewhere, sadly, but there were 3 Dratini on my radar and I managed to catch one of them as I was passing by.

I'm going to check this place out tomorrow, and if it IS a Dratini nest, incoming Dragonite!
