Manhattan has spoiled me. I don't even bother turning the game on when im not at work.

There was a Magmar near my field office at 86th St but the radar doesn't work and Pokevision was down for Maint. Got an Oddish and some other common Pokemon from eggs this morning.
I wish I could find the starters more often so I could evolve them. I've gotten 3 or 4 Squirtles, 1 from egg, a Bulbasaur, an Ivysaur, and 1 Charmander in addition to the one I caught at beginning. That's it.
I've seen them when searching near my wife with the python program a couple times, but rarely near me. I think there's a nest near my 86th St office, but I'm not there often and it wasn't where I caught it last time. He was on my radar, though.
I definitely agree with the notion that spawns are based on cell ping activity within the game. Cowboys Stadium is booming. Pokemon on top of Pokemon according to PokeVision. Going to go walk around there during my lunch breaks. I've seen a lot of Charmanders over there lately.
Sitting in the dentist chair, caught a Drowsee. DDS says, "motherfucker, been looking for that one"

There are a bunch of Charmanders on the west side of central park at the Museum of Natural History (Makes sense, Dinos and Charmanders)
Good to know.
I want to find Charmanders and Dratinis.
There is a Dratini spawn right over in NJ somewhere near Hoboken. I'm trying to find one a bit closer. I got one randomly with a lure but nothing since.
I've caught as many Drowzee as Pidgeys :/ They're super common here.
I have 120 or so unique Pokemon in my Pokedex and I've only ever caught two Drowzee.
Nice got a Dotrio and Tagela otw to work today :D
Too bad they got shitty CP rolls.
But I think I may have found a Psyduck nest about a mile from my house, so when I get a chance its golduck farming time.
They are pretty creative with the spawns. I see a ton of electric types near all the power stations.
There's a buttload of Abra's around the south end of Bryant Park ALL the time. At least 3 every time I look at Pokevision.
Also, there's been Pikachu's spawning above 42nd street between 3rd and 6th. Usually between 43rd and 48th
Yeah I see voltorbs and stuff near the east side Con Ed plant.
I want me some Abras. I want to recreate my main team from yesteryear on here. Charizard, Alakazam, Dragonite, (Zapdos), (Articuno), and last was a wild card. Sometimes Gengar, sometimes Vaporeon, or whatever else I felt like leveling. Not that I won;t try to get everything, but I want good Abra and Gastly to evolve.
Yeah, Bryant Park is a sure bet for easy Abra leveling. There's always at least two up.
I'm gonna go to the Museum of Natural History tomorrow and get myself a Charizard.
Central Park right now.
My wife's cousin graduated from college so we have to go to bumblefuck for the weekend :/
I bet it'll be terrible for Pokemon. The population is so low I'm sure there's nothing. I should check it out.
EDIT: Yep. Pidgeys, Weedles, Clefairy, and Bellsprout.
Looks like a Gastly and a Growlithe are up now. If they spawn there constantly that may be the saving grace. Can take the dog for a walk and catch them.
