Lost a Tauros twice today. First one was in an airfield I couldn't get into, second one I lost by about a minute because I got stuck waiting on a train to go by for 5.
Did get a Cubone though.

Not sure how rare they are, I just wanted one for my pokedex and up to this point I hadn't seen one before.
I lost out on a Kabutops in the same airfield last night too. Doubt I would have been able to catch it anyway (I'm level 10, so no Great Balls even), but fuck me I wanted to try.
So this has been today, not counting the amount of ponyta's I have sent to the blender. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...be633e0a81.png
starting a pony farm sir?
I am debating on naming them after my little ponies. But yeah they just keep spawning
Today's big finds were Scyther and Lickitung.
Total haul, not a lot caught compared to yesterday:

Went to the park because I was desperate for pokeballs. Ended up finding my first Growlithe, Dratini, and Electabuzz, and I also snagged a Tauros finally and caught a few Squirtles. Productive day, although I'm not sure how long I should wait to evolve my pokemon. I have enough candy to evolve an Eevee but dunno when to do it.
Once you've got about 50 or 60 pokemon to evolve at once pop a lucky egg and go to town
Went to AKihabara, I think just about everystore was just spam inserting those lures.
Was getting catches nonstop... went from 150 pokeballs down to like 30 because I had like 3-4 pokemons near me constantly so I didn't really move much ;/
(pic of me getting close to akihabara strip)

Have you seen a Farfetch'd yet?
This. Also to conserve balls, because surburbia, I don't even bother with pokemons not named rattata or pidgey. I'll only engage others if it's a pokemon I'm actively trying to evolve, a pokemon I don't have, or magikarp. Much rather have just a fuckton of those two to spam evolves with a lucky egg because their candy requirement is so low. No incentive whatsoever to go after the others when it's a flat XP rate all around. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets nerfed in the future.
I doubt it'll change. Exp requirements are so hight later that lucky egging 60 evolves at once is a drop of piss in the ocean. You have to do it 100 times to get a single level eventually.
Saw a meowth earlier, haven't seen too many rare ones that I could catch as of yet. Tried using pokevision when I notice one on radar, but it doesn't seem to find it clicking all over my area qq
Going to have to literally leave my phone on all night, and let the funky GPS system walk my character randomly all over the place and hope an egg hatches something.
Can't stress it enough that if something has a 3 part, 125 candy evolution, DON'T evolve it until you have 125 candies. You will 99.9% have a much stronger CP Pokemon by the time you reach the 125. Regretting it now.
I think he is saying not to evolve as soon as you get 25 candies but wait until you have all 125 candies needed.
Because lets say you have a ghastly and you want gengar and you are lvl 7. You have a 215 cp ghastly and 35 candies. Dont evolve it yet. By the time you get the 125 candies needed you might find a 500cp ghastly that will evolve to a higher CP monster. And you will be a higher level allowing higher cp everything.
But you could also find a really high level haunter in the wild which kinda makes it moot.
I could be wrong.
Got a 98% eevee and an 87. Vape and flare gonna be sick. Think I'm gonna wait till I'm around 17-20 to finally evolve them.
