Do you visibly see the Pokemon if there's any around?
Now all i'm getting is constant crashes at it trying to redo my avatar, think i'm just gonna wait a week or two till they fix these issues.
Damn, this doesn't like jailbroken iPhones it seems.
Damnit, can't download due to not being available in WA state yet.
The APK is available on Reddit; that's how I got it and I'm in WA.
Haven't' seen anything come by my room, in the past couple of hours, so I don't think Pokemon wander about; they'll just run if they show up on your screen and you don't catch them fast enough. I don't know what forces a spawn, but as time has gone on, I've seen a lot more show up near me, but everything is three paws away.
Downloading, also going to steal that response from now on. So.....Thank you!
Yes! Working beautifuly beautifully, local mall is a level 5 gym. Freaking sweet to see the Pokemon through the camera.
Edit: walking around town looking like a fool with my phone. Don't care! I caught a fucking clefairy!
"Intel CPU not supported"
what the FUCK
can't play until they do...
This is exciting in a weird way. Downloaded it, immediately got a Pidgey and Farrow in my apartment (woods out back), with Koffing, Paras, Staryu, Golding, Weedle, Rattata, and Bellsprout shown as near by. My apartment has a small pond nearby, a little woods area, and a few main streets within a mile. Also a couple of shopping centers not much farther past that. I might walk up the street to the store just to see what pops up. Awkward indeed.
I occasionally see grass leaves pop up on the screen but they don't seem to be in a consistent spot. Is that tips that something is there or just effects to liven the screen up?
I think that is telling you something is there. I got a weedle and the next one I got gave me a zoobat ( which took me 15 tried to catch).
One issue I already see us that people are going to think your filming them or taking photos. Might cause a bit of trouble.
Also this:
Bf put the game on his tablet, we are in a development with some mountains around us, found a charmander, zubat and abra close enough to the house that we didn't have to leave.
Went for a little walk, prolly 3/4 a mile or so up the road. Came across multiple Zubats, Venonats, and Rattatas. A Magickarp came up as near by, but didn't feel like walking down the hill towards the pond. An Eevee was shown as close by but I couldn't find it. D: For the paw prints, is 1 or 3 closer? I kept seeing Ratattas as 3 but then they'd pop right next to me. Eevee was 3 but never found it. Now that I'm back home a Meowth is close.
Really feel like the circle should be a bit larger, enough to go street to street. I saw some ruffling grass that was located in such a way that I'd be sneaking through backyards and behind apartment complexes to reach it. I'm looking forward to the first news report of trespassing to capture a Pokemon.
Found a way to get this installed on my iPhone even though it's not released on the Canadian app stores yet!
Phone's temp really spikes when this game runs(yes, it's time for an upgrade...)
Currently dogsitting in the middle of nowhere, but used an incense item and snagged about 8 Pokemon from it. It's pretty amusing!
Seems like shit showing up can also glitch out. I walked outside my house for like 100ft and caught 3 pokemon. Then walked like 3/4 of a mile like you and passed through plenty of rustling grass but no pokemon came out. Only thing I can think is it glitched out for nothing to show up in a 10 min walk when it displayed plenty nearby
Incense got me 6 pokemon in 30 mins but that was entirely stationary (3 Pidgey, Goldeen, Psyduck, Slowpoke)
So my work is 3 separate pokestops. I passed 3 gyms on the way to work but didn't hit level 5 til I got to the third, and it was held by a Drowsee with 160CP and my highest is 90CP so I just kept walking.
Driving over a certain speed (I think 20mph) doesn't register the movement medal/egg hatcher. But the range on grabbing pokemon is huge. Like something would pop up, I'd tap my screen when I could and it would still register. Then would have to wait until a light or when I stopped to try capture.
Obviously I'm not recklessly trying to catch shit whilst doing stupid speeds. Was generally when setting off or slowing down at lights and I had time to tag them.
Trying to hit pokestops whilst driving is pretty much no go though, you have to be way too close. Not sure on gyms as only just hit level 5
