A Venusaur just popped across the street from my apartment. I was the first one there, but as I'm 25 or so Pokeballs in, 20 people come running in from nowhere and at least 10 cars pull up and put their hazard light on. It was really quite fascinating.
So I ran out of Ultra Balls (Started with 19) and went thru about 21 Great Balls and tons of Razz Berrys. Ended up catching it. 1146 CP and 46.7% Avg Perfection. Blah, oh well. 119 Caught/Seen in Pokedex. And 93 Bulbasaur Candies. I have a 88.9% Avg Perfection Bulbasaur waiting in the wings.
I missed a Blastoise in the park tonight by about a minute. I really need to bring a second device to pay more attention to pokevision or something.
Saw a Dragonair with 10minutes left on the clock. Only probably, it was a 15 minute drive to get to
Use the Desktop App and search all of the parks in your area. Parks often have nests of pokemon that are normally super rare everywhere else. Should be pretty obvious when you've found one:

How do you move the location on that thing? I entered the location I want to go to but it never moves
Going to work now but I noticed all the gyms in the area went neutral and slowly getting turned by low level people on the area. Is that a glitch or the norm?

Theirs a pikachu nest at shinjuku, but it was blocked off because apparently kids were beating up other kids over pikachus.. wtf is this madness.
Pics of Farfetch'd

pic of some of the hundreds and hundreds surrounding the park trying to get a pikachu, saw some climbing the fence/getting arrested

Speaking of farfetch'd, he seems to be randomly everywhere. Using pokevision I noticed them out in the middle of nowhere, saw one near my house in the tiny city I am at.
Pikachu cosplayers wondering around the park area too...

You have to log out, scroll down and change the Geolocation coords, then log back in. No way to move the marker in app atm, so you can't really use it like PokeVision. It's mostly for scouting out which areas are nests before you actually make the 20min+ drive to wherever. I use it to find places, then pin them on google maps as I find them, so I can plan out where to go next time I get the chance

Pokemon go date day with GF. Got 20 magikarp. Missed a Electabuzz. Caught a few rare ones. But level 21.
gf started using poke vision and is getting better at map directing. She claims her abilities to read maps in rpg will help. But that is not the case. Pokemon go map hunting seems to be helping.
I'll be honest hunting rare is like ff11 nm hunting.

Not too many using pokevision in japan yet. Although you can tell when a rare one spawns, a few people are running with me to the spot haha
I wish the Pokemon Desktop app was better, it sucks for mobile since you can't freely move the marker
Razzberries make it harder to catch pokemon for me so I've been tossing them. And revives are useless as I don't live/work near gyms so those are going too
Man I wish I was back in my hometown last night.......
THIS spawned on the beach.

I know you guys have been talking alot about it and I just wanna make sure of it
Do all exemple Eevee, have the same maximum CP w/e you catch a 30CP or a 200 CP one?
Or do all low CP pokemon are just candy fodder
Thanks
Your level determined the max CP along with one of the stats.
Maximum CP of pokemon that can be "caught" are relative to your trainer level. I don't know what the range is or probability.
If you look theres a bar above your pokemon that's the maximum CP once its full you can't upgrade it more that's based on trainer level. I'm unsure if specific stats slightly influence that max bar. (Like weight and height etc. I've been trying to find somewhere that does keep track of those)
Pokemon can only be caught to a maximum CP range of trainer level 30. For pokemon hatched they'll only hatch according to a maximum CP range of trainer level 20. That's what I read. Max is level 40
That's not my question
I'll reask another way
You get exemple a Jynx (easier since no evolve)
will a Jynx you catch at 30CP be able to attaign the same max CP as a Jynx you caught at 300CP or will a 300CP jynx Always be able to get higher CP then a 30 CP jynx (yes i know it will cost more stardust)
