Hunting Dratini at a local park where 3-4 spawn every 30 min. A wild Snorlax appears 5 blocks west with 5 min left. Level 43 Snorlax. FML. pokemon trainer level 23 and 10km eggs do not exist.
Eevee name trick still working for people? I wanted to get another Vaporeon and had an Eevee named Rainer, and it evolved into Flareon. : (
Can only use it the first time you evolve each form.
Got my 4th Magmar from a 10km egg this morning :-/
Never caught or Magmar or got a 10km egg.
Stopped playing the game for different reasons, shit was fun but it's too redundant now
All of mine are from 10km eggs. Never caught one.
And it took me a while to get a 10km egg. Somewhere in this thread is me bitching about it, lol. Think I got my 1st one around level 17. Have had tons since. Including 4 incubating at the same time on 2 separate occasions.
I'm level 19, almost 20, and haven't seen one yet. 90% of mine have been 2km.
I actually wish I got more 2km. I get 5km 95% of the time. At least 2km can give starters and starter candy.
I was just typing what Sath said. 90-95% of mine are 5km eggs. I wish they were 2km eggs for the starters and candy.
Edit: What is everyone settling for when it comes to IV perfection? I am wondering how long I should wait to evolve something that I have the 125 candy for if it is only 88.9% perfection.
Couple of observations:
Squirtle seems far more common than Charmander, which is a good deal more common than Pikachu, which is roughly as common as Bulbasaur, in my experience.
Pikachu seems to be able to spawn wherever, whenever, rarely.
Squirtles seem to spawn all over, somewhat frequently.
Charmanders, I've noticed spawning "every so often" in a couple of very specific places, and they're frequently only up for 3 minutes - so you kind of need to be there already to catch them.
Bulbasaur, I've seen one ever, and it involved running six blocks at 3 am.
Boston Common is infested with Jigglypuffs, to the degree that Central Park has a lot of Pinsirs.
Yeah I noticed the jigglypuffs at boston common. If you're from Boston, where have you seen Charmanders? I've never seen one.
I see way more Bulbasaurs than any other starter.
Lvl20, have had three 10k eggs. Really want more 2k for the candy spam, but I'd settle for purchasing a second infinite incubator.
I wish some one mentioned the eeveelution trick only working once...I would have saved my vaporeon evo for a better eevee =/.

Wife and I caught 1 Charmander that randomly spawned on our block. Other than that I haven;t seen any.
Squirtles appear near us from time to time and I've seen them on 85th between 3rd and Lex.
Bulbasaur I've seen spawn twice near my office, but haven't seen it in a week or so? Since I caught it there basically.
Squirtles spawn around my house a lot. Got a Wartortle there too.
