EU so salty, why can't we just hope for both western teams to do well

it's funny because i can totally relate to what phreak said in PTL, i cheer against EU until it's worlds and then i just want to see the west do well lol.

i think iG will still beat c9 but i agree there is totally a random factor there

What a pleasant surprise. I hope C9 has more tricks on their sleeve tho. It was very obvious AHQ had no idea what to make of Veigar. That won't work again, but C9 making our out of groups would be a welcome miracle.

veigar shouldnt be a surprise for anyone that has been paying attention to the pros lately, he's kind of a niche pick but he's incredibly strong. i think c9 is underrated, my pick 'em was fnc>ig>c9>ahq. i really expect the group to go that way

The picks and Doublelift/Pobelter won that game. Zion did his best to lose it. Xmithie looked terrible until 25 minutes in.

Best early game I've ever seen form any WCS team. Sadly they turned full WCS after those initial 15min. Group A looks a lot more interesting now. CLG/FW/Pain all seem to be able to take a game off eachother, from what we saw today.

i don't think pain can take a game off anyone but i'd like to be wrong to make things interesting, i think if CLG continues to play how they did they will get out of the group at #2

I agree with this. Barring a big Pain upset, which I think is very unlikely.

Unconfirmed numbers for concurrent viewers during EDG game are between 8-10 million.

Discounting 50% of China leaves that around 5-6 million concurrent on the first day.
