That was kinda... eh....
That was kinda... eh....
Even for South Park that got really weird.
Like the season? It had some good laughs, but not as good as last year. I feel like they tried to do too much for 10 episodes. This finale was decent, but yeah, meh.
Last two episodes were kinda weak, overall all this was an amazing season though.
Season was amazing but that finale was definitely "meh" at best.
wtf did I just watch
Season over? Still haven't watched 1 episode.
I got it. It got really meta there at the end.
I imagine you'll receive it better being able to binge a little over 4 hours of south park instead of getting just under 25min a week of a small laugh here and there. By no means a terrible season; I just felt it started slow, peaked mid season, and just slowly glided down to mediocrity towards the end. Season 18 is still one of my all time favorites, with season 17 right behind it.
It was just meta talk from Matt and Trey. Randy was talking to the audience basically saying they were happy pre-SJW and now they have to change everything or people will get offended, then they threw in the subtle gun violence to show that it's getting to the point where people are going to have to force each other to listen in order to be heard.
Stan basically sealed it with the last words.
And from the looks of it, this season will carry over potentially so..
Was still pretty entertaining though.
I really liked it myself. It wasn't as specific as the other episodes of the season (excluding last week) which might be by people think it's not as funny, but the ridiculousness was there and I like that kinda humour too
Really dug the finale not sure why people ain't groovin on it. It ain't no creekxtweek tho thats for sure.
I hope we see more Classi
On it's own it was a fine episode. I was just personally letdown by the hype built around the finale by the last few episodes. PC Principal's origin was a cop-out and the ending seemed ridiculously rushed. The Whole Foods angle never really gave a payoff for the amount of time it was given this season.
How the fuck did Jenner miss the dog lol

Yeah, it did seem rushed. Garrisons campaign just kind of got forgotten after being built up so much, but it's guaranteed to come back next year during the election cycle. The whole ad plot was built off the whole foods/gentrification, but more time was given to developing Shi Tpa Town then the finale. As much as I like the continuity to the series, 10 episodes is just too short.
Yeah, needed another episode or 2. Had some laughs especially at the guns, kinda feels like how the whole world sees the US and them taking the piss out of it (then flipping it around) was hilarious.
That was also meta. PC culture has gotten so out of control that the only way to get anyone to pay attention to you is to literally hold them at gunpoint, and then guns have become a spectacle akin to dog shows etc etc. I thought it was clever.
I enjoyed it but needed to be fleshed out more
