Tron Lightcycle Run is currently undergoing cast and AP previews at Magic Kingdom. Guests of larger sizes are having hit or miss issues fitting in the ride vehicles. Kind of reminds me of Flight of Passage where you have to straddle the seat. The locking mechanism slots between your calf and thigh in a kneeling position and this seems to be what is causing the issues. So taller and stocky people are having more issues than overweight people are. However—guests who can’t fit in the cycle seat can still ride the attraction in the ADA seats on each train which are bucket style seats with a VERY generous lap bar restraint instead.
TLDR, is Tron fat friendly? Yes and no. The cycle seats themselves may not accommodate riders of larger sizes but they do offer an alternative seat you can use to ride it.
Disney has always been pretty forgiving on more big & tall stuff, something I wish Universal would improve upon.
