I shouldn't have to pay premium theme park prices and also cross check tabs for when most Americans don't want to go in order to avoid 2hr waits for anything imo. Just not worth it at that point; why bother for rides you've done a dozen times before? Seems rote to pay for such an experience.

Well, I mean, if you're going to go anywhere, you're going to do planning. If you can't be bothered to do the most basic of things, like seeing what dates/holidays may be more busy than others, then get mad cause it's busy, you really got no one to blame but yourself.

Mad at myself that a company allows ticket sales to reach a peak where lines in their park reach 2+hrs for a ride, with bathroom lines longer than 5min?

Idk if I'd blame myself for that.

Dude, outside of the newer rides that just came out, shit ain't hitting 2hrs unless rides go down due to storms, break downs, or going on a major holiday/spring break when you should already be expecting huge lines. Don't know what sort of florida crack you're on man, but you are way you're exaggerating and blowing it out of proportion, it's obvious theme parks are just not for you man, so you do you.

It's a Thursday and ratatouille is literally a 145min wait right now. Gaurdians is 90. Test track is 95.

Not everything is a movie length in wait time. Just most of the fun stuff, the things worth doing. I could always Journey into Imagination with Figment, but ya know I guess that's just not for me.

    It's Spring Break.

I inadvertently made the mistake of picking a random October Wednesday last year for Universal Studios Hollywood; ended up being Yom Kippur. The place was packed for a weekday. Only reason I didn't suspect anything when purchasing the tickets was it was a cheap tier ticket day and I didn't look on a regular calendar if it were a holiday.

If you go anytime in March/April you are hitting spring break and risking long lines.

Best times to go are September after Labor Day, and January (not on marathon weekend), or, the end of August but it will be fucking scorching.

4th of July weekend and Christmas Day are the worst times to go crowd wise, and usually the only times the parks ever hit capacity

None of those will be frontline cast members, it’s almost exclusively middle management or executive level employees, and many are not even in the parks division. They completely shuttered their metaverse/VR division for example. And a lot of people who work for Disney+

My guy it's the first week of April. Florida schools did their spring breaks last month. If you're saying March/April is off limits because of vacationers then cool, but also lol kinda proving my point I guess.

Wut? My nieces have their spring break next week. Not everyone has spring break at the same time.

Dude, this is a yearly thing with WDW as many districts in neighboring states are also out on spring break. Jesus, you're dense. Go to any disney board, and they will all tell you the same thing, the month of april is one of the worst overall months to go.

Orange county had break 3ish weeks ago. The southern counties had break last week and the week before. Not everyone is the same sure, but let's not pretend we're at the start of break season cause we're at the end of it. Even so, it's a Thursday! Them lines still suck at 2pm no matter how you spin it

Because again, neighboring counties and states all have spring break this week cause easter is on Sunday. Are you seriously being dumb for the sake of being dumb thinking your area is the only area that doesn't have spring break this time?

No, that's you moving the goal posts. My only statement was waiting in 2hr lines sucks and y'all are responding like it doesn't, but y'all agree it does you're just saying don't go to the park during the time a person is actually able to attend which is just a weird comment to make

I mean yeah, if you go during one of the busiest times of the year it’s gonna be busy.

    It’s also Easter weekend

It’s very unfortunate if you are only able to go during the peak times, but they are not always this busy.

Because I go pretty regularly (couple times per year) I have the luxury of being able to skip anything if I don’t feel like waiting more than say, 30 minutes or so, because I can just catch it next time. Someone from across the country making their once in a lifetime trip or something, yeah, they are gonna be waiting in all the lines to do everything.

Salo I’ll be there in September for a few days, come thru and I’ll show you how I do it bby <3

It's not moving the goal posts if it's a damn fact dude. This week and last week are both considered spring break weeks at WDW due to all the neighboring areas. Again, since you seem to be deaf on this, just because it's not spring break in the immediate area does not mean spring break is not happening for other areas that will travel there.

California deals with the same exact thing as California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, and New Mexico, all neighboring states all have spring breaks staggered over a 2-3 week period and cause the same damn issue over here.

You're the only one whose not getting it.

Los Angeles Unified School district, the second largest in the country and a 30 minute drive from Disneyland is on spring break right now

Edit: disregard, you said orange county so I figured you meant DL not WDW
