Out in SF for a major conference and set up a lunch with two guys from one of the largest pension funds in Canada who have $75M in one of our funds. I think we spent 85% of the lunch talking about the Leafs. Expectations are sky high it seems in TOR.

And work travel is the worst. Woke up at 3:30 AM ET on Wed to fly out, conference events from 7 AM to 6 PM, group dinner until 10 PM, booze and carousing until 1 AM (4 AM ET), pass out and repeat the whole process again today. Total zombie right now.

That's not the issue the NHL wants 3v3 for show purposes.

They say that shootout is too boring and they need to find a way to,present a better show

I still stand by ditch the loser point period. Whether it's via shootout or the 3 on 3 OT. Give the teams ultra incentive to go for it. Not just "We got one point. derp derp put John Scott out on the ice for the OT because why not?" mentality.

TJ Oshie wont get the Caps through the playoffs. He might get you TO the playoffs via SO wins, but thats all.

Well that would either involve one of our teams falling to WC and playing in the other division, or a ECF birth for both teams.
