I wonder when the league is gonna implement a "defies the laws of physics" clause when determining goals like that.

Like the oilers goal against the kings...if the puck is in the glove, and the glove is clearly in the net, then the puck is in the net.

I mean, you wouldn't be able to say that on this one, unless you can determine the slim black line you can barely see at the edge of his glove, as he moves it back, is the puck. Otherwise, you never see it at all and it COULD, highly doubtful, but COULD be sitting right on the line. (puck was on the ice and he swatted it, not in his glove and tossed.)

I understand the point though and I've been asking it awhile myself, especially in football. If you can see any portion of the ball/puck, you can clearly determine where it is because we know the exact size of the object and other objects around it. It shouldn't take more time to science it out, then it does some of these ppl looking at replays.

You couldn't see the puck on that one either, or DET's other stadium Cam that was looking from the other angle. This is just the gif I picked, there were 4 other angles, none of them showed the puck.
