I didn't watch the whole game or even a lot, but the parts I did see, Colorado was being chippy and instigating several times

I didn't see the game so this is more of a general comment, but if you run your mouth the whole game you should not be surprised nor protected by the refs in the form of extra penalties when someone tries to ring your bell. Based on the Caps/Leafs game, Wilson likes to yap.

Everyone yaps, yapping shouldn't equal penalties when someone else hits you or throws you down. Kadri committed two penalties before Wilson got up and put a hand in his face, he could have broken him in half, as I said then, that was shit reffing. Iginla crosschecked Wilson, then dropped his gloves and punched Wilson twice before Refs jumped in and stopped Wilson from fighting back. It's retarded and shitty reffing. Wilson was called by Player Safety to warn him, because he tends to hit really hard and while his hits are legal, they are "close" to dangerous. It's retarded as hell to penalize a player for being legally physical. Wilson occasionally takes stupid penalties but on top of that, Refs are penalizing him for nothing, when another player goes after him.

Yea, he often gets under the skin of players, but he usually does it legally and is getting penalized for it anyways. I don't care what he says to Iginla there, he obviously got under his skin and drew a penalty but doesn't get rewarded for it, and instead gets a penalty for nothing.

Matt Cooke was dirty as fuck, Marchand doesn't get penalized nearly as much as he runs his mouth or plays dirty. My point is, Wilson isn't actually as dirty as those guys but has their reputation, which is stupid.

and since when does Perry get penalized for anything? He has purposely stomped on two players legs, that I can think of, and didn't get penalized or suspended for it.

I didn't say any of that, you are just trying way too hard. My point is, while Wilson is a rough player, he is not dirty, has not been suspended and has had ONE hit that was reviewed by player safety and found okay, yet he is on a watch list with and being treated like he is Zac Rinaldo, Steve Downie, known serious shit heads, etc. This isn't a one play thing or one game thing, it's been going on all season and just getting annoying, I brought it up, you and Obs called it stupid, and I am defending my original position, that Wilson is being given a bad rep when he isn't a dirty player. Rough, tough, rides the edge? Yes, definitely, but he isn't Rinaldo, Perry, Cooke dirty, not even close to it.

Perry has gotten off pretty light for some of the seriously, clear intent to injure things he has done though, come on man. I didn't claim Iginla was dirty or a goon, simply that he clearly did check Wilson here and Wilson was penalized for just being there.

Tom Wilson is a goddamn idiot and he's only good for the PK, complete bust to me.

Every fucking month we hear the guys saying he's going to calm down and Trotz is forcing him to be more disciplined and he goes out there and talks shit for every second he's on the ice then acts befuddled when he gets jacked the fuck up - and that's when he's not still taking physicality way too far, which yes, he still does.

The Iginla encounter was kind of silly to give him minutes for in a vacuum, but let's be real, all Wilson does is get on the ice, talk shit, and miss shots. I shed no tears for his bitch ass.

It was kind of fun when we came out on the net positive end of the penalties, but he's not doing the team any favors continuing to perform poorly outside of the PK and drawing the ire of linesemen everywehre.
