Aksy/Sep/Brill - what do you all think of Mike Johnston? Looking at social media, a lot of people disapprove of him, i.e want him fired, but you know the word of social media is full of idiotic knee jerk reactions. Wanted a legitimate opinion on him, as I don't really follow Pens religiously.

I honestly don't think he's any better or worse than Dan Bylsma. I often see people begging for Bylsma back and that's something I do not get because he was a really ineffective coach, particularly in the playoffs. Last season's playoffs were also abysmal though. Chalk that up to Johnston not having the experience, I guess. I'm sure he's not long for this organization if we fail in the playoffs again this year, though. I'm at least willing to give him that much more time. If we exit first round again this year, I'll be calling for him to be fired alongside everyone else.

I'm probably not like, the absolute best analyst here, but those are my thoughts nonetheless.
