Canucks are entering tire fire status. The bottom nine are not good. Sure we have some decent young players and what not but if the Sedins were injured not sure there are many AHL teams Canucks could beat.

To put it another way only Toronto has a worse winning percentage. That's right, Edmonton wins more then the Canucks now.

I knew this team wasn't good at the start of the year and everything Im seeing now just re-enforces my desire for the Canucks to tank and go for a top 5 pick. Most of the other dog shit teams in the Pacific have a better prospect pool then Canucks right now and they need to start building for the future.

I believe you can hand pass only from your own defensive zone? (Not on face off of course)

It's only if you close your hand around it IIRC. Batting the puck in your defensive zone is legal if it lands on another players stick. Anywhere else though I believe the play is called dead.
