On one hand, I fucking hate the Toronto media. On the other, Bernier did put up some pretty decent numbers the last 2 seasons and this season could be an anomaly. I feel like Bernier would be a better option than Hiller and if he can get his game back, better than Ramo too.

Personally, I think he's mentally fragile and has a shit attitude. Multiple times last season he phoned in a game and then threw his teammates under the bus in the post-game. The early goals-against thing stretches back to the beginning of last season. He murders his team's confidence and then pisses all over them after the game. Could they have played better defense last night? Yes. Should Bernier have made some of those saves? Yes.

I'll be pretty upset if we opt for him over Reimer. If we can get something for him, great. If we can't, I'd rather put him on waivers. At least if someone claims him we'd be free of the 4M/year we're paying him to shit on the ice every night.
