Guy scored 43 goals last year, is leading your team in points this year but he sucks, fuck him. Maybe your entire team is just shitting it up offensively, on top of half of them having a breakout year last year and seeing natural regression from that.

It's a combination of all of that as well as injuries. Rumors in Tampa are that he broke his wrist in the playoffs last year but that doesn't excuse an 'elite' player for only having 1 SOG. Guys like Ovechkin rack up the points because they fire it at the net constantly and for a guy who's role is to be a sniper, he needs to be blasting away. If teams are willing to pay 10-12m for 1 SOG, that's on them but it certainly won't be here in Tampa.

Stamkos doesn't suck, he's not worth 11m either. The Lightning are ravaged with injuries, because the triplet line is getting fucking dominated physically and getting hurt because of it. With that line out of commission you can key in on Stamkos easily. The Lightning are a top heavy team and it shows

and the NHL also rescinded Good Guy Tom Wilson's Match Penalty for a clean hit the other night, at least they fixed that mistake. Thankfully, they did not listen to Scott Burnside who, admitted it was a clean hit but felt the NHL should still suspend Tom Wilson for being Tom Wilson because they shouldn't undermine the on-ice refs, or some bullshit reasoning like that.
