For the love of God....
For the love of God....
At least the game is entertaining.
GREENING TIES IT UP
OH COME THE FUCK ON GUYS
Rare misplay from Rielly. Better throw him under the bus in the post-game.
Fuck man we played well enough to win this game.
So much for the road points streak.
ITT: people who live in Murica are teaching others about quebec demographics and terms.
Rata speaks english, kinda, yet hes a francophone. Michel Therrien speaks english (barely), yet hes a francophone.
Je connais comment parler en francais, but im not a francophone.
The literal term of anglophone and francophone means able to speak english and french, but in quebec, it is as i defined it.
Jets going to pick 8th.
This is so, so, so, soooooooooo.... Disappointing.
Canada roxks!!

so in Quebec people use words completely wrong, got it. Now I understand why your posts are so awful.
anglo/franco generally refers to main 'fluent' language, not, I know a couple words in that language. So yea, MT barely knowing english doesn't change him from francophone.
Since October 27th, the Leafs have a higher point percentage than the Canadiens.
Got to see a McDavid goal live tonight and the crowd was BONKERS!
But the biggest standout was 5 minutes left in the 3rd, fire alarm starts going off.... nobody moved.
"Only in Canada" or 18,000 people simultaneously winning a Darwin Award. LOL
That McDavid goal was ridiculous.
Now that I'm home and I can read and respond to this bullshit properly, I have to ask: how in the fuck is this any different from what I originally said?
Its the exact same fucking thing.
Now, let me explain more about Quebec and its politics to you.
Midway through the 2012 season, Randy Cunneyworth was appointed interim coach to the Canadiens. This caused a massive uproar, and not because he had no NHL coaching experience and was unfit to coach the most storied NHL franchise...no, it caused a massive uproar because he didnt speak fucking french. How bad was the uproar?
It also led to protests infront of the Bell Centre protesting Molson products for this absolute travesty:
It is a disgusting xenophobic culture. There is an actual branch of the govt devoted to "protecting the french language". Its called the OQLF, and its a legit real thing, and it has been ridiculed hundreds of times by the anglophones and those outside of quebec who hear about it. A popular Italian resto/club got hit up by these people because their menu had headers written in Italian instead of French. It is an actual law in the province that any bilingual signs must have the french text on top, in a font that is 3x bigger than the english font.

This is also a thing that happened.
Lets dig further:
Torrey Mitchel is from Greenfield Park, QC, he's a native Quebecois, he speaks french, except his name isnt Torrée Michel, therefor the french media doesnt slob on his cock.
Mark Barberio is from is from Montreal, QC, he's also a native Quebecois, he speaks french, except his name is Mark, and not the french version of Marc, therefor the french media doesnt slob on his cock either
Nathan Beaulieu isnt from QC, but he's got a french sounding name and he's fluent in french, but RDS wont suck his cock either.
David Desharnais, he's a home grown francophone from Quebec, his name is french, his family is all french, RDS sucks his dick, swallows, then sucks it some more.
Francis Boullion is a special case. His father is haitian, and his mother is quebecois, he was born in NY, but he moved to QC when he was 3 yrs old, and is a QMJHL graduate, RDS gives him the same cocksucking treatment.
When Koivu was named captain, holy shit there were revolts, how dare the Canadiens appoint someone who cant speak french as Captain!! Gionta got the same shit, he cant speak french, he's unfit to be captain.
an·glo·phone
ˈaNGɡləˌfōn/
adjective
1. English-speaking.
"anglophone students"
noun
1. an English-speaking person.
Nowhere in there does it have anything to do with anyone speaking French. It's someone who speaks English as their primary language, that's it.
Jesus christ, are you really that dumb?
IN QUEBEC, francophone refers to those who are french first language and anglophone refers to those who are english first language. If you ask a french person who speaks english if theyre an anglophone, theyll probably stab you.
But thanks for explaining quebec culture to us from all the way in Washington DC, where the only french you hear happens 2-3 times a year when the Caps are in Montreal and you hear the background announcer over the tv.
Never though I'd see the way nynja describing French stuff
