i don't really consider the caps snakebitten by the rangers in particular - they are a very good team but it's not like caps haven't had their chances to win against them. it's not like when the colts meet the pats in the playoffs and just get shit housed every single year.

i have a fair amount of confidence in the coaching and roster for this and the next couple of years. the biggest concern moving forward is how we handle the inevitable decline of brooks orpik.

Edit: Just looked at the Flames projected lineup. Colborne is back in which is awesome, Frolik is on a line with Johnny+Monny, and the 2nd line is Bennett-Backlund-Hudler. I'm actually really quite excited now for the game

I think Etem can do what Glass already does and maybe produce more scoring chances too. A mighty fine choice.
