Yes, lets fire the coach after losing 2 games in a row when he started the season 9-0.
#NynjaLogic
Said coach put our worst defensive player, whos also his pet (desharnais), out to cost us the game.
I guess he just coached his team to 9 wins in a row on accident.
If this team went 81-0 and lost the 82nd game you'd still be calling for his head lol.
I hate to break it to you, but 3 of those 9 wins were really sloppy, and the past couple of games hes been trending to his old habits.
Fuck, against Vancouver PK had the 5th lowest icetime among D.
Not that I'm agreeing with Nynja, but two of those wins were against a Leafs team that is objectively worse but still outplayed the Habs (pretty badly) on both occasions and had their bacon saved by Price. And I'm pretty sure another came against the BJs.
That said they've been a much better possession team this year by most metrics.
FUCKING THERRIEN!
I know its tough to believe, but maybe, just maybe, the habs actually have some pretty good talent on the roster, and its not just "good coaching that got them 9 wins in a row".
The leafs dont have much of a talented roster, but Babcock has got them playing solid hockey...just no talent to score goals.
This game embodied all of 2015: get a lead and sit on it. 11 shots in the first, 5 in the second, 5 in the third. Davey and weise on the PP with said lead with LOTS of time to go. Emelin with more ice time than PK.
Hell, ask any of these leafs fans their opinion of the jays manager (aka: hockey coach)? Did Gibbons "coach" the jays into playing .750 baseball the last 2 months of the season to get into the playoffs, or did the GM just get a fuckton of talent to get the team to the playoffs?
Hutch is literally the Hawks killer.

I can't wait to see how bad he Nynjorn's if the Flames beat them tonight.
Youre right
Taking a 3-0 lead in the first period with 11 shots on goal, then losing 4-3 and posting 10 shots in the following two periods is perfectly acceptable, especially when in the previous game they were down 3-0 in the first and just mailed it in.
Hey, aside from PK making probably the best save of the game, they figured at 3-0 can just put it on cruise control and play down to the Oilers. I'm not saying we're some high-flying team, but if you wanna go run-and-gun hockey vs McDavid, have fun with that.
However crying like it's the end of the world when your team is 9-2 is lol. If you drop to 9-73 by season's end, totally. But dropping 2 in a row after the best start, naaahhhh.
Was a nice change of pace, since so far this season, the 3rd is usually what kills the Oil.
If you really wanna fire Therrien that bad, I'm sure MacTavish or Eakins aren't up to much atm
Nynja, are you going to the game tonight?
Scarface is available too
Tickets in the lower bowl were like 450 each. I didnt mind last year when I had a student loan to abuse, I dont have that luxury this year. My boss offered nosebleeds, but I dont want to watch a game live if its harder to see than what I'd get off a shitty stream.
Holy shit, they gouge that badly down there?!
I realize for teams like Toronto, Montreal, Pittsburgh, Chicago that people would upcharge, but even yesterday my FB was flooded with "Anyone want tickets for the Habs tonight? Face value." type thing. Never been to anything at the Saddledome in Calgary, but I heard nosebleeds can be pretty meh for watching stuff from.![]()
Yeah, first bowl and even second bowl in the Saddledome are pretty solid. But then you get into that "third bowl" area that's about as high up as the rafters and practically touching the ceiling and it's really pretty awful lol. You're better off watching the game on the TV's they have hanging up there lol.
The ACC is watchable from pretty much anywhere unless you're behind one of the pillars in the upper bowl.
Roger's Arena in Vancouver is good like that too. Any seat is more or less a good one.
