And yeah, not a mets fan, hate the Dodgers, but you don't slide when you are past the bag. If you start the slide as you reach it to break up the double play it's one thing, but he could have sat down on the base at the time he slid. Assuming the Royals and Rangers both don't make it, the last of the Final Four to make it to the world series previously will be the Mets. At least no one then will be able to complain and say it's the same old teams this year.
