good ol umpball
good ol umpball
at least it wasn't a sweep....
ugh fuck everything
great game though
Welp, I'm on the Met's wagon now.
it's funny, I was reading an article today about how it's bad strategy to hit Revere leadoff. lo and behold he comes up in a prime spot
Were they forced to put Navarro in the 9th batting spot in the order? He took over for Martin, couldn't they have left the batting order the same and let more of the 3-4-5 guys have a better shot of getting an at-bat?
Edit: Or did Navarro pinch-hit for someone? That was probably it now that I think about it
That strike 2 to revere was a horrible call lol, like 2 inches outside, and it forces him to commit to swing at anything.
Alright canadian bros
Back to the NHL thread where we belong
I don't really want to blame borderline calls like the ground rule or strikes/balls. The problem was not doing anything with RISP
Boo. I didn't want to see the Royals go to the series again. Toronto deserved it more. They haven't been in a while.
Makes sense.
Welp, back to the hackey thread

Jays 0/12 with RISP in this game alone. Says a lot about both the Jays and Royals
Good pitching is luck?
No
It was shit like donaldson going for fences every swing whe he needed a base hit to tie the game and let it roll.
At least they went out with some dignity.
Ya'll lost your dignity when you threw the kitchen sink on the field in the ALDS. Fuck Toronto, I'm just sad we didn't get to sweep them ourselves.
