This movie still seems really odd to me being after Avengers 3 and before Avengers 4, unless it doesn't take place after in the timeline or something? I'm still interested in seeing it though, since I enjoyed the first one.

The first one had some of the coolest fight sequences in all of the marvel films.

First part of the trailer hints at it taking place sometime after Civil War and likely before the ending of Thor. Ant Man & The Wasp are in Infinity War too and I don't think they would be going about their adventures so easily after an alien invasion by Thanos. The fact that they don't even talk about an invasion or show any of the fallout from it makes it more obvious.

Granted, this was just a teaser, and like with two eyed Thor red herring, they could be holding some info back on purpose. We'll obviously know more after IW, but if I was a betting man, I'd put my chips on it being set before Avengers.

Good point about the time-line. Would be cool to see some kind of Easter egg in the movie of them watching the news about what's going on at the Washington Monument with Spider-Man during the events of Homecoming.

We'll obviously know more after IW, but if I was a betting man, I'd put my chips on it being set before Avengers.

The MCU has been pretty well done so that the diehards are pleased, but any casual moviegoer can see or skip any given movie and still be intune to what they're watching. The others that have taken place at different times had little enough to do with the arc or aftermath to not be a bother. But this after Infinity War? I dunno. It feels like they'd be setting themselves up for some hiccups if they don't address that it's taking place in the past. Could be that Infinity War won't have the level of fallout that we're hoping for too, though I doubt that. I think it'd just be jarring to see a world level threat taking place, followed by a rom-com with characters that took part in the battle.

I have faith they've got it figured out though. Looking forward to the next year~ of MCU.
