I thought Captain Marvel was in November?
I thought Captain Marvel was in November?
Originally yes. It was delayed in 2015 back to March 2019 though.
DISAPPOINTING
It's okay because we get Miles Morales in December![]()
You think it should be seen in 3D? It looked like the kind of thing that probably should be...
More like there is little value added to the price of admission for 3D. You're better off paying the premium for IMAX/Ultralarge Format/<Insert other awesome sounding selling point that makes the movie better> than 3D.
I'll enjoy my standard format matinee viewings for some LEAN entertainment.
I'm in the minority of BG that thinks 3D can be great (but then again none of them go and see things in 3D on the reg so yeah lol). That said you can't really tell just by that. Just because a movie could lend itself to 3D doesn't mean they will or do a good job. I've watched 3D versions of most movies I've seen and would only say 4-5 were ones I'd seriously recommend and only a handful of others that weren't actively worse than 2D version which is largely why most people aren't fans of 3D since odds are it'll be bad to not worth it most the time. If you care about the cost or eyestrain I'd wait until you hear reviews on it
True... 3D isn't the best for most movies, usually just overpriced post-production afterthought.
However, if Dr. Strange ever has another 3D showing in theaters I'd go. 3D was pretty epic for that one, to the point where I'd say you're missing out if you didn't see it in 3D.
I almost put that in my post, but didn't because wrong thread. I saw the first 2 in 3D and you can bet I'll be seeing the 3rd like that too, as long as the reviews don't say the movie is complete dogshit. It does look rather unfortunately like they rehashed the plot from the 2nd movie but we'll see...
Fuck 3D. Trailers always have more of it than the actual movie.
AMC Dolby Cinema ftw
Better than Regal RPX & IMAX

Indeed. Along with that and Dr. Strange; Avatar and GotG 2 were great in 3D. Most recent planet of the apes was pretty good 3D usage too though most of it was more subtlety adding to the already great visuals than wow shots. And those are really the only ones I can recommend out of probably a couple hundred 3D movies I've seen lol
