Meanwhile the Seahawks have played 3 teams who are currently undefeated lol
toasting in an epic bread
Weird stat of the week: five teams have held leads in the fourth quarter of every game they have played.
6-0 Denver
6-0 Green Bay
5-0 New England
5-0 Carolina
2-4 Seattle
(Note: the Giants were on this list until last night)
One of these things is not like the other... The talent's obviously still there, the ability to get a 4th quarter lead (often by more than one score) is still there so they're not a bad team in the traditional sense, but somehow they've completely shit the bed in the fourth quarter five out of six weeks (thanks Jimmy Claussen for sucking bad enough the Seahawks can't choke to you).
Last year, after six games, they were 3-3 with the tough part of the schedule ahead of them. This year, they're 2-4 with their toughest games behind them. I see the rest of the season going in one of two ways, and I don't really see a middle ground. Either the finger pointing continues, they quit getting fourth quarter leads, and the season implodes and spirals into an offseason of despair. Or they get their shit together, finish with 10-11 wins and become the wild card team in the playoffs that nobody wants to play; passing the Cardinals is not at all out of the question in that case, either.
Predicting a 8-2 or 9-1 finish is pretty crazy for any team, much less the flawed Seahawks.
Cardinals in the same boat, albeit for different reasons. I'm really not a fan of Bruce Arians and if you know football and watch their games you'd understand why.
Guy has a severe case of god complex and micro-managing the offense.
I was doing math off 3-3 for some reason, was thinking 7-3 or 8-2 is doable...if they get their shit together in the fourth quarter. 9-10 wins still probably puts them in the playoffs though in a top heavy NFC, possibly even division champ, depending on the games vs the Cardinals.
And if they don't, 5-6 wins is equally possible.
Feels like the Vikings will be battling the Cards/Hawks loser for the 2nd WC spot, unless two East teams both get to 10 wins.
TMZ reporting that Fred Jackson crashed his car drag racing Marshawn Lynch near the Seahawks practice facility
Lol, wonder if it was the car he was borrowing from Marshawn.
