After claiming it was initially a mistake, they're now saying that U.S. Officials knew it was a hospital and bombed it anyway. The attack killed 22 including physicians, staff, and patients. Bombing a protected site such as a hospital is a war crime and a violation of the Geneva convention. To put a fucking cherry on top, a U.S. Tank rolled through the wreckage destroying possible evidence.

"The special operations analysts had assembled a dossier that included maps with the hospital circled, along with indications that intelligence agencies were tracking the location of the Pakistani operative and activity reports based on overhead surveillance, according to a former intelligence official who is familiar with some of the documents describing the site. The intelligence suggested the hospital was being used as a Taliban command and control center and may have housed heavy weapons."

That, and I work in the intensive care, which was what was bombed. Apparently patients in the ICU burned alive during the bombing. Even after the US was alerted during the attack that they were bombing a hospital (which it turns out, they knew anyway), they continued to bomb it for another half hour. Everything about this story makes me sick.

As far as the pizza guy goes, that's fucking boss. Hopefully he was delivering the pizza to the ED.

The worst part is because we're the US, nobody (except maybe some low-ranking fall guy) will be held accountable, and instead we'll just end up paying out millions of dollars in compensation to the families of the victims (as we should).
