I think Shaq would throw a monster party if he could maintain 12-34 over the course of a season. I remember him doing some commercial years ago where he was crying and saying free throws should be worth more because they are so hard.

12 for 34 would be 7% worse than Shaq's worst season from the line. He was a career 52.7% FT shooter.

Strangely, his 3 worst seasons at the line were the 3 he spent in Miami. He was never below 48% for a season outside of his Miami years.

and he did that ^ despite a childhood wrist injury that kept him from snapping his wrist properly.
