no doubt but this is one of the few Rockets games i've seen all year and watching Harden try to lead that offense is fucking miserable. DM lost his shot, Dwight continues his 5-year regression, Terrence can't even get on the court, Brewer+Smith+Terry's already shaky %'s have fallen into unplayable range, Beverley is the only dude on that team besides Harden that can do anything off the dribble. James Harden and John Wall always lead the league in assists that come by way of corner 3's and in Harden's case it's mostly because on every God forsaken possession he spends 15-20 seconds crossing back under multiple screens trying to get to daylight through strongside overloads as the rest of the team sits behind the arc and waits for him to collapse the defense and fling a crosscourt pass.

he's hated and it's basically deserved but i'm not sure there's another player in the league who does as much for his team on offense as Harden does for his, and i'm not sure anyone else's numbers come harder.

i mean, he set career highs in points assists and rebounds this year dragging an abortion of a team into the playoffs and he just dropped 35-9-8 on one of the best defensive teams in basketball (a team that's better defensively with Curry out) and hit the game-winner. one-way player and a douchebag no doubt, but dude can ball
