I thought the Warriors were about to run away with it there once they got up 5.

It's too bad the east coast went to bed three hours ago.

Regardless of the outcome of this game, I fully expect the Warriors will still win this series now that Curry is back, probably in six games. But it's great to see the Blazers fighting back; they've had several chances to let this series and this game get out of hand, and they've come back. They blew away all my expectations for the regular season, and continue to do so in the postseason. (Yes, I know injuries have helped considerably in the post-season, but still...)

i agree with a lot. i think if i'm a blazer fan though, and even though i think warriors will bounce portland now that curry is back, i'd have to be pretty happy with all the playoff experience these young guys are accumulating. i think that stuff is gonna make a gigantic difference in accelerating player progress

For sure. Nobody was expecting this team to win more than 30 games this year; I was amongst them. I found myself initially annoyed when they won, because I thought they were hurting their draft position. Then I found myself annoyed when they were getting close to making the playoffs, because I didn't want them to lose their first round draft pick. But at this point, it was worth it.

I have tickets for Game 6. Really hoping it happens.

    Jesus Christ.

Curry gonna Curry. At least the Blazers didn't pass on drafting him, too.

Setting a NBA Playoff record on your first day back from a semi-serious injury. That's disrespectful.

Went out at halftime. Following West Coast teams on the East in anything but NFL is a pain in the ass.

Yeah - there's a trade-off between bottoming out for draft position and being an appealing "winning" franchise to free agents. Blazers are lucky they have two young stars to build around in McCollum and Lillard.

If you're talking about most points scored in a single overtime, that's not just a playoff record, that's the most points scored by any NBA player in a single overtime in any NBA game, regular season or playoffs. His record of 17 broke Gilbert Arenas' old record of 16.

For sure. One advantage of being on the west coast is we get to watch all the games. Sometimes I miss the first half of east coast games because I'm working, but I'll take that over missing the second half of games.

but probably not too much since he's won 4 of them

Leonard over Bron is silly but this was a p easy year. 73 wins, 30-7-5 on 50%-45%-91% with gamebreaking range + elite finishing around the rim + leading the league in hockey assists + improving his d. pretty preeeeeeetttyyyy easy

He's been top 5 in voting for 11 straight years on top of winning 4 times (including the year he should been unanimous aside from the errant Carmelo vote), pretty sure the voters like him just fine.

I'm fine with docking LeBron some points for causing constant internal drama and coasting at times during the regular season. Kawhi is plenty good enough to jump him with that considered.

I just watched the OT Curry show again... Dude is just progressively amazing.

And that "I'm back! I'm back!" sequence was too good.
