Eh, Kahwi was 4th in total win shares - 7th in offense, 2nd in defense. That's a great player. 2nd in WS/48 too.

his efficiency numbers are a little buoyed by San Antonio's system and though a capable passer he's not too much of a playmaker yet (he's not asked to be), but he's the best perimeter defender in basketball, a legit 20 a night first option scorer, and an excellent rebounder for the position. i'd have Durant over him on that list but he's at worst the 3rd best forward in basketball and a top 10 player.
did only play 61 games but still #1 in opponent's field goal percentage at the rim
yeah i think i remember seeing his rim stats were worse this year than last, or something else similar, which is why i raised the question. but clearly he's still better than the rest of the field.
not that meaningful analytics matters one lick to the people who vote on this stuff anyway.
Fuck, anxiety!
I won't get to see the end of the game until League Pass airs it late tonight... Fkn longstanding X-Men plans, the media blackout is real.
A full game of "Steph gon' Steph" and Dray with his head firmly back upon his shoulders is so necessary. Dubs Up!
All the cliches in the world but I'ma roll with: win or go home!
The main thing that's ridiculous about the All NBA lists is the lack of Harden. Regardless of his inability to play defense, he should have been there over either Lowry or Klay.
what? no way. harden was like the 3rd best SG in the league this year.
Thunder getting ref balled already LOL. Draymond should have gotten a T already
no other SG in the NBA could have dragged the Rockets into the playoffs, and Harden set career highs in points, rebounds, and assists. last year runner-up MVP and First Team, this year squat. don't make no sense.
OKC may be getting some tough calls but mostly they're taking terrible fucking shots. Russ + Kev combined 3-16, team is shooting 22%, they're lucky they're not already down by 15
Jesus christ, that entire offensive sequence by the Thunder just now was hideous, missed like 3 straight layups
OKC hits their last 3 shots to get up to a gentleman's 28% for the quarter
GS played some great D but turnovers and getting smashed on the offensive glass (their recurring sins this series) turned what could have been a statement quarter into a tight one
OKC should have Adams just fastball basketballs at the Warriors and take out the whole team with headshots
GS's greater depth tells, it was that Barnes-Iggy-Speights run early in the 4th that blew the game open and gave the Dubs the lead their starters held onto. Curry looked more like his old self and made some clutch defensive plays, and Bogut played the game of his year largely negating OKC's size advantage
game 6 has to be the most anticipated scrap of the year. can't wait.
Westbrook and Durant went off and Warriors won regardless. Man Saturday is gonna be lit
This a win win, Thunder win then LOL at Warriors regular season Champs or Warriors win and LOL at the Thunder for choking away a 3 - 1 lead.
was on a plane during the game but looking at the box score, OKC starters played ridiculous minutes (44+) while the GS high was something like 37 for Klay. Not a huge difference but possible that can manifest itself in a long series.
for those that watched, any GS adjustments? they still have Draymond roving on Roberson? I saw they played Bogut a lot, which they've been trying to do previously but he's been picking up too many fouls
They switched up defensive schemes a bit, but it was mostly a matter of just playing better then they have in the previous games. Especially in regards to the bench.
