They switched up defensive schemes a bit, but it was mostly a matter of just playing better then they have in the previous games. Especially in regards to the bench.

Combined with OKC trying to play hero ball instead of getting people involved like they had in previous games.

I think that big piece needs to come at the cost of DeRozen. I just don't think he's good enough.

ddr's definitely an oddity in this era of pace and space. but i think he really got better this year, and toronto would lose a lot by not resigning him.

He was invisible for probably 17 out of their 20 postseason games this year, and it's not the first time he's gone MIA for a series either.

Admittedly I do not follow the NBA (or the Raptors specifically) as closely as I follow other leagues, but I agree that he got better this year. The problem is that we can't (or won't?) give huge money to a guy that disappears every April.

Whether he stays or goes, he had an opportunity this year to make management's decision very easy, and he accomplished the exact opposite.

He was bad in the first round, serviceable in 2nd, good in the 3rd

Having guys that can create for themselves is invaluable. He would be much more dangerous if he ever developed a passable 3 point shot, but he's still valuable in the midrange and getting to the FT line

Likely never going to be good enough to be the 2nd best player on a championship team, but he's still valuable and not to blame for the Raptors losing to Cavs.

So about this.

Apparently his ex girlfriend lived in this apartment complex, and he went to the wrong floor. So instead of breaking into his ex's place, he broke into the apartment of the dude who shot him.

Actually reading more reports. It sounds like they were estranged, but had talked earlier in the day and ended up getting into a fight. He left, got some drinks, and when coming back to apparently continue the argument (or whatever the fuck he was doing that necessitated breaking down the door) he has on the wrong floor.
